Most tasks on the Interior Decorator career will have your Sim going to a neighbor’s home to execute some renovations. Whether or not you fulfill their demands determines how big of a reward you’ll get for every job. The gameplay in these segments is as basic as it gets, and I can’t help but see a lot of wasted potential in the concept of flipping a Sim’s house.

Fortunately for building fans, this game pack comes with a healthy dose of new items and building pieces. The Sims 4 has always been one of the most satisfying entries in the series when it comes to designing and building your dream houses, and Dream Home Decorator makes the experience even better.

Improved Furniture

When it comes to game packs, Dream Home Decorator knocks it out of the park in terms of new furniture added. While most game packs will only offer minor recolors or themed items as part of its content, this one goes the extra mile with the quality of the items it has added to The Sims 4’s already-impressive buy mode.

Sectional sofas make designing living room spaces feel like a breeze. They go along spectacularly well with the new and improved modular wardrobes, giving the player much more freedom when designing a room’s floorplan.

It’s the little things that make a game pack like this stand out from the rest. The fact that its theme goes well with any season is also a huge plus, as some of the seasonal decorations in Sims game packs tend to clash aggressively with the rest of the game’s aesthetics.

This is not an expansion that will appeal to any Sims fan, but it’s one that undeniably makes the game feel like a more robust entry into a great series.
