Epic Fantasy Battle Simulator is an ongoing development targeted to bring your wildest war dreams to life. It's a pretty glorious ambition, but one that doesn't go unnoticed.

Epic Fantasy Battle Simulator is a hybrid between a pure simulation and a strategy game. Not a lot of player engagement is there during the battles. The whole point is to drop figurines and create armies that slaughter each other in scenic backdrops. It all sounds pretty dreadful, but boy does it look fun!

We can start by saying that Epic Fantasy Battle Simulator isn't the first of its kind. There have been a few other attempts to translate a tremendous battle experience into a somewhat playable offering. However, there doesn't seem to be a release that's so dedicated to the cause of battle simulation, let alone a fantasy one! Those large-scale wars are looking even more intriguing.

It's worth noting that, like others in the genre, very little control is offered to players during battles. Though the real fun comes in preparing for combat. The world is your oyster in Epic Fantasy Battle Simulator, allowing players to forge armies as diverse or homogenous as you'd like them. Choose your scene, and build conflicting armies of over 100'000 soldiers.

You could pit orcs against trees, Teutonic knights versus demons, archers dueling ogres - the game lets it all happen. That limitless potential is dampened down, though, by the fact, there are no boundaries. Watching the battles can become sluggish if your CPU isn't up to the job. No limits mean that you could go frustratingly overboard, leaving you still wondering how your fantasy battle would play out.

However, if you can stay within the confines of your rig specifications, Epic Fantasy Battle Simulator is an entertaining game. The levels of customizability, minor control features, and scenic visuals are satisfying. As an Early Access game, it's definitely going in the right direction - there are some good things to be expected in the feature!

It's safe to say that Epic Fantasy Battle Simulator is a more enjoyable experience than Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator (boy, do those sound like the same thing). The intuitiveness and commitment to better battles will appease the player experience. Right now, there's no limit but your CPU.
