The Jackbox Party Pack 8

I know that there are a great deal of people excited for The Jackbox Party Pack 8! As the name suggests, this is the eighth installment of the popular party game franchise where you compete against other players all the while being watched by others. You may wonder how they can keep things fresh after all this time, but this proves that they are far from running out of ideas just yet. By this point, you know what the deal with this series is that is why I am going to take a look at each of the five new mini games that make up this release.

Job, Job

Think of Job, Job as a job interview game, but as you would expect from The Jackbox Party Pack this is a twisted kind of interview. You have to use the answers that other players have given in order to try and score this new job. This is going to be for 3 to 10 players, do you have the skill to score this job!

The Poll Mine

Next up we have The Poll Mine and this is a big step for the series as it is the first time a head to head team game has been part of the series. You are stuck in this mine and you and your partner have to try and rank the poll opinions of the group to try and escape. This is a weird game, but one that is sure to get you guys laughing. 2 to 10 people can play this one.

Drawful Animate

Next up we have Drawful Animate which may sound familiar to you, but The Jackbox Party Pack 8 is putting a new spin on it. The idea here is that instead of just drawing you are working with animated gifs. Having to create these is a lot of fun and the game throws some decoys your way to keep you on your toes. This is for 3 to 10 players.

The Wheel of Enormous Proportions

You knew that we have to have a trivia game as part of this new collection and this one features a giant wheel that is going to spin before you get to do your activity! You never know what is going to happen here and 4 to 8 players can take part in this. I have a feeling that this may be one of the most popular mini-games The Jackbox Party Pack 8 has to offer.

Weapons Drawn

The last game we have to talk about is Weapons Drawn and I get some Among Us type vibes from this one. The idea is that you have to solve various murders, but at the same time you have to make sure you are covering up all the murders you are committing yourself! This looks like a lot of fun and 4 to 8 players can play.

I think if you have enjoyed the previous packs that have been released, The Jackbox Party Pack 8 is going to offer you more multiplayer fun. If you love to have game nights with your friends then this is the kind of game that you have to have on rotation.

Pros:

• This gives you five new fun mini-games to play
• I love the idea of the game that is kind of like Among Us
• This is perfect for a game night
• It is as usual great value for money

Cons:

• You do have to be invested in the series I feel to get in on this
• This 100 percent is only for people who like multiplayer games
