House of Lust

As a sucker for lewd pixel art, House of Lust came across my radar, well, a friend actually recommended it to me, and I knew that this was something I had to check out. I knew going in that it was a shorter game, and that was perfect for me at the time I was ready to play it. Not only does this have some fantastic lewd pixel art, but it has a fun premise for a story, and it has some pretty neat puzzle-based gameplay too! If you are on the hunt for a lewd game with some spooky goings on and also a game that is not asking for a great deal of your time, this is just what you have been looking for.

A Night Out Of The Woods!

A fun little reference to the awesome Night in the Woods for you there, which, if you have not played, you really need to! Anyway, House of Lust is not the most deepest of games when it comes to the story. We play the role of a little pixelated guy, and while lost in the woods, we find our way to a strange house; one might say that this place is full of lust! I say that because this is no normal house where we can take shelter, nope, this is home to horny spirits that want to get their hands on us, and while on the surface, big-boobed ghosts chasing us sounds great, this will not end well for us, so we need to escape.

A Puzzling Adventure Of Pixels

When I say that House of Lust is a pretty short game, I am not messing around; you can easily play through this in just one sitting. The game is played from a 2D point of view, and we control our little pixel guy and move him around the different areas of this large house. We need to solve a series of pretty simple puzzles in order to progress, which on the surface sounds nice and easy, but as I said before, this house is home to all kinds of horny creatures that are looking to get their rocks off, no matter what happens to us as a result.

Run, Run Little Pixel Guy

To be fair, the core gameplay of walking around and exploring the house and solving puzzles in House of Lust is pretty fun. However, there is one element that I feel they use far too often, and that is the running and hiding. Hey, Outlast made a whole game out of that concept, but I feel that here, the horny spirits show up way too often, and it can make just walking from one end of the screen to the next a massive chore. I kid not you not, I was trying to get out of a room, but a spirit showed up, so I had to run and hide in the cupboard, wardrobe, or whatever it was. I waited, I went to walk out, and then it showed up again right away. I get why this is in the game, but it is way too overused.

A Quirky Kind Of Charm!

While I would not argue against anyone who says that they think pixel art is overused these days, I will say that House of Lust is a truly gorgeous-looking and fun game as far as its art goes. These horny spirits have really fun designs, and I got a massive kick out of the way that they all had these huge boobs, huge boobs that played a lot into the different sex animations that the game had to offer. While the XXX content is the most obvious thing to talk about, I am also a massive fan of the general look of the game, as it does have a real charm to it that I thought was pretty neat.

Pros:

• The pixel art spirit designs were fun
• The puzzle solving and exploration were neat
• You may get a kick out of the light horror elements

Cons:

• The constant running and hiding grows tiresome
• A little more depth to the story would have been nice

House of Lust is a pixelated hentai side-scroller that will teach you how to resist temptation and stay alive after a night in a mansion with monsters. You got lost in an unfamiliar forest, but that was only the beginning of your problems, because very soon you stumbled upon a mansion where you could take shelter from the rain. However, even that didn't save you from the danger constantly hanging over your life. The ghost that inhabits the mansion is trying its best to leave you with her. Do not let this happen, so as not to become one of the eternal inhabitants of these walls.
