Princess Reconquista

Being a huge fan of lewd 2D action games, Princess Reconquista was something that I was very excited to play. I got some real 16-bit vibes from this as I was playing it, and trust me when I tell you that this is a very good thing! The game is fast-paced, looks fantastic, and above all else, it was just a ton of fun to actually play. Oh, I also loved how the lewd content in the game kind of had a point. Hey, I love seeing hot chicks and dudes getting it on as the next guy, but when a game can tie its XXX content into the gameplay, that is always something that I think is very cool.

Picking Up Her Sword!

I love a story about heroes trying to stand up against a supposedly more powerful force oppressing them, and that is what is at the heart of the story in Princess Reconquista. The setting is the kingdom of Lilitran, and things there were peaceful until the nation of Elpasia invaded and tried to take it for themselves. This is confusing, as they are supposed to be allies. All looks lost, especially as the queen is missing! Thankfully, Ish, who is the princess, is willing to pick up her sword and just start taking names and kicking ass in order to save her precious kingdom! It may not be the deepest story ever, but it sure as heck works for what they were going for here.

Up In The Air

While the game looks great, it was the core gameplay of Princess Reconquista that had me hooked pretty much right from the start. If you like classic 2D action games, let's say something like the original Ninja Gaiden, for example, but you also like more modern ones too, like the epic Dust: An Elysian Tail, there is no way you will not love this. The game controls great. Ish can attack in a few different ways, but for me, the addictive aspect was the juggling mechanic, where you can rack up huge combos as you just start smacking enemies around. Yes, this can be played like a standard button masher, and you can have fun and get far. However, there is a real layer of nuance to the gameplay here that, for those who master it, it is just an absolute ton of fun. There are several levels and lots of enemies and bosses to deal with, and the game is so much fun that the time zooms by as you play it.

Horny With A Purpose!

I always get a kick out of a lewd game like Princess Reconquista that manages to make its lewd content actually be relevant to the gameplay, and that is the case here. Ish is super hot, and there are many characters who are pretty much naked or wearing very little clothing. However, this is not a case where you have to lose to see her bang other characters. You get back energy by having sex with other characters, and there are sex finishing moves, which is the best way to fully put down an opponent. This is something that I thought was very cool, and while it is hot at first, you actually are looking to bang your enemies, not just to see the awesome sex scene, but because it is actually going to help you progress through the game.

It May Have A Purpose, But It's Still Hot!

Princess Reconquista is just an absolutely gorgeous-looking game. This has some of the best-looking 16-bit style pixel art I have ever seen in a lewd game. I would go as far as to say it is more Sega Saturn than it is Super Nintendo! Ish is a total babe, and the sex scenes in the game are awesome. There are those that happen in the actual game, but there are also more detailed cut scenes as well.

The animation is nice and smooth, and in all, the game just looks great. While it is easy to just focus on the XXX content here. This, in general, is a very good-looking game. I was very impressed by the backgrounds; there are tons of little details, large structures (including a big-boobed statue), and it really does feel like a real, lived-in world. It is up there are one of the best looking lewd 2D action games ever!

• You do have to enjoy 2D action games to appreciate this
• It is so good, it left me wanting much more!
