Dorm Janitor’s Revenge

The premise of Dorm Janitor’s Revenge is so awesome, and I love a good lewd RPG, so I was very excited to check this one out. While I liked it, I do think that this is a game that could do with a bit of reworking.

Working 9 to 5, Just Like Dolly

The story here is pretty fun in that we have just gotten a new job working as a janitor at this all-girls dorm, but these ladies are kind of nuts and basically want to use us for their own pleasure, be that sexual or just being mean to us so they can get their rocks off that way. The game has a kind of Persona vibe about it with the way the social dynamics work, and I thought that there were some very interesting characters. I also liked the way you could basically submit to some characters, but try to be more dominant with others.

No Money And Big Problems

I came into Dorm Janitor’s Revenge thinking that I was getting some kind of classic lewd RPG, slice of life style adventure game, and that is 100 percent here. However, this game has some of the most brutal and, dare I say, unfair grinding of any game that I have played. The money system in this game is beyond insane, and the level of grinding needed just to break even is horrible. It feels like when you take one step forward, you end up then taking several back! The game needs to address this, as I can see many people losing interest once they get to the end of the first week in the game and realize that they made very little progress. What is annoying about this is that I can tell there is a great game buried in here.

Now That Is Some Hot Pixel Art

When you are playing the game, it is done in a classic top down style, but there is just so much personality to the pixel art here. The scene in the shower room was so much fun with the characters in the shower, one in the bath, and there was even one looking like she was struggling on the toilet, which I thought was hilarious. As well as the great-looking game, there are a ton of highly detailed, much larger pieces of pixel art that showcase the story of the game and give you the lewd content. Honestly, if it were not for how fantastic this looked, I think I would have tapped out way before I did!

• The story was interesting
• There were lots of characters that I liked

• This has some of the worst money-grinding I have ever seen
• It always feels like you are making very little progress
