Anomalous Coffee Machine 2

I am kind of at a loss for words, which is rare for me, to describe just what in the hell Anomalous Coffee Machine 2 is. At the end of the day, there are sex scenes in this game, so it has to be described as a lewd game. However, this is also kind of a horror game as it has some pretty messed-up imagery going on here, some of which was pretty damn shocking, and if I say something is shocking, you can take that to the bank. I have played tons of video games over the years, and there are not many others that I can think of that come close to being as weird as this one is!

Who Is She And Where Am I?

So, the premise of the story in Anomalous Coffee Machine 2 is that we come across a very strange girl, and there is an even stranger coffee machine. This is not your usual coffee machine that you see everywhere. This one has magical transformational properties. The girl wants us to type in words to the coffee machine, and then the coffee machine will make a drink based on that word. Look, there is just no way that I can do the weirdness of this story justice; you have to just play it to experience it. I thought it was pretty unique, but I could also see why this would not click with some people.

Using Your Words

This is going to sound very strange, as Anomalous Coffee Machine 2 is a lewd horror game, but the first comparison that comes to my mind is Scribblenauts! The reason I say that is the gameplay here is all about typing a word and seeing what happens. So if you type death into the coffee machine, for example, you will get the cup of death; if you type lava, you will get a cup of lava. There are not unlimited types of coffee that this machine can produce. I think there are around 80 cups of coffee for you to discover and so you are not just typing any random word into the machine. The creepy and weird girl does give you some hints, some are quite cryptic, but others really will test that vocabulary of yours!

Whose Name Is On The Cup?

The other part of the gameplay in Anomalous Coffee Machine 2 is that once you have discovered a new cup of coffee, you then have an important choice to make. You have to decide if you are going to drink the cup or if she is. Now, clearly, you can tell that this chick has some kind of magical thing going on, so it probably seems like a better idea for her to be drinking the more extreme-sounding ones, right? However, there is a different outcome for each drink; some will make her transform into something beautiful, and you could potentially have sex with her. Others, well, let me just say, others are the stuff of nightmares. The unpredictability of this makes for something pretty exciting if I am being honest. However, at the end of the day, that is pretty much all the gameplay that is here.

From Cute To Horrifying

I am a huge fan of what the developer of Anomalous Coffee Machine 2 has done as far as the visuals go. The game has this very slick and smooth anime style, with a kind of blue/purple/black hue to everything, and I love it. While this is technically a lewd game, there are only a few lewd scenes. Sometimes she will turn into something nice to look at, other times she turns into some kind of monster that would not be out of place in one of the Resident Evil games or Silent Hill games! The game does also have some animation, and no matter if it is one of the sex scenes or one of the other transformations that occur, be it you or her, the animation is very smooth.

Pros:

• The whole premise of this game clicked with me right from the start
• Some of the transformations are very hot
• Some of them are also freaking horrifying!
• If you like lewd horror games, this could be for you

Cons:

• This game is so strange, it is not going to be for everyone
• There is a limit to the words that the coffee machine recognizes
