Party Animals

If you are looking for a hilarious time with your friends then Party Animals is absolutely for you. A brilliantly funny and excellently visually rendered title, Party Animals brings it all right to you. This game is all about the multiplayer madness as you get up to some interesting shenanigans as a fuzzy little animal and contend, not just with your pals, but also against the unruly physics engine that governs the games movement controls. This game is impossibly cute, so if that’s the kind of thing you’re into, then keep reading as I go into more detail.

Gameplay

If you have ever played Gang Beasts, you know exactly what this game is all about. Take that and mix it with a little Human Fall Flat for good measure, but something that I have found to be distinctly unique about the game is its presentation of the characters.

High resolution and beautifully rendered cuddly animals as far as the eye can see. The objective is simple; outlive your enemies. The objective may be to simply remove them from the fight or to defeat them for another purpose entirely, like claiming the Gummy Bear.

Fact is, the gameplay is very straightforward; it’s you against the others and you’re all against the map itself. Maybe someone pulls a lever and the floor falls out, maybe someone tumbles off the side of the map. Anything can happen and that’s what makes the game so fun.

There is something inexplicably soothing about watching a bunch of drunk puppies fighting a lizard with a baseball bat. The movement and controls are easy to learn but difficult to master, you’ll definitely find that once you get into it, it gets easier but not without practice.

The physics mechanics is a very unique selling point to this game as everything you do depends on them. Tripping over an enemy could be all the difference between tumbling all the way off the map or a small misstep, its up to you to think clearly about your move and how dangerous it could be.

Visuals

This game looks stunning! The characters are absolutely adorable and the environments are colorful and interesting too. There is something soothing about the vibrant pastel colors that give a rubbery look to everything, save for the animals who are furry, in which case they look like they actually are fluffy and soft.

Multiplayer

The multiplayer aspect is the best bit about the game. That can be online or offline, in either case you can jump into a game with up to three other friends and get right into the lunacy. Whatever the map and whatever the game mode, everything has been developed just right so that its easy to get to the action whenever you want.
