About the game

In Plantera 2: Golden acorn we welcome the blue Helpers once again as we tend the garden and help the big, magical oak tree to grow. As the word goes by, in this place is a special seed planted that, if taken care of well enough, will grow into an incredible oak tree.

But taking care of that seed will take a lot of work, and to do this you'll need more helpers. To do this, it is your mission to start by creating a garden around the tree and make it as beautiful as possible to attract Helpers, they are these round blue creatures that are here to help you pick up items and harvest your plants.

You can decorate your garden as you watch it grow and expand with more and more beauty. The bigger and more charming it gets it will also attract more new animals. Not just the helpers will be attracted, but also sea creatures and birds will swim and fly closer to your garden. You can of course do the gardening work yourself, or leave the Helpers to do their thing. They will keep the workup, even if you're not playing the game.

Taking care of your garden

It seems like it's a recurring theme in relaxing, cute video games, to be taking care of a garden. But we've seen it work a lot before in games like Terraria and Animal Crossing, and it's something fans really seem to enjoy. We always mention how Animal Crossing New Horizons was the best-selling game of 2020, and that's saying a lot.

Plantera 2: Golden Acorn is a pretty cute and relaxing game, it's great for chilling out and enjoying watching the cute Helpers. It's also great to see how your garden expands and it brings more and more animals as visitors.

The art is charming and colorful, but there's a problem in this game of course. And that's the lack of content in there, sure there are plenty of cute little animals and Helpers, but besides growing the tree and garden there's nothing much to do, and that turns the thing into a repetitive little game. But well, repetition is probably good for relaxation so, who knows.
