Fleeting Iris

I was very impressed with Fleeting Iris which is a lewd slice of life style of game that has a kind of RPG/corruption kind of vibe about the gameplay. I got a kick out of the modern day setting and in all, I had a great time with this and truly felt a connection to the main character. I also have to say that getting behind this game was very easy as the developer seemed like a really good dude who wanted to make a great lewd game for people to enjoy. They were very welcoming of questions and trying to help people who had any issues so that gets two thumbs up from me right away.

A Simple Girl Loving Her Life

At the start of Fleeting Iris, we meet our main character who is a lovely young woman called Ayame. Ayame lives in Japan and is just loving life trying to find that special someone and just go about things the way that she wants to. One thing that I love about this game is that they manage to make you feel connected to Ayame pretty much right from the start. For example, I took to her right away and I would say from the start I was going to go down the “good girl” route if I could.

The Man Of Her Dreams

While Ayame is living her best life, the twist of Fleeting Iris comes at you and that is a handsome young man called Robert who works for the CIA. Robert is in Japan on a mission and he and Ayame fall for each other, get married and she moves to the USA with him. This all does happen pretty fast, but the game wastes no time and manages to get you up to speed with who Ayame and Robert is. There are different paths that the story can go and I liked this as it means you may want to go back and play it again to see how things end up if you make different choices in the story.

A True Love Story

The gameplay of Fleeting Iris has you going about the town embarking on simple quests that usually have you going from point a to point b or getting something for a character or getting something from a character. There are many different ways you can play, you can have Ayame just be all for Robert and a good wife or she can stray with the hotties that are Dan and Sato. Robert is not all innocent either as there is the stunning Adriane who causes some trouble between our married couple. There are different paths and I think that the game does a very good job of making it easy for the player to pick what kind of experience they want with this game.

Now That Is A Three Way

Fleeting Iris is a lewd game that certainly has that RPG Maker look that many lewd games go for, you know the one, that top down pixel style. It works very well for this game because there are constant character portraits that pop up when characters are talking and these look fantastic. The characters all look super hot, but not in a completely unrealistic way, also I like the way the game has a cartoon style, but it is not full anime with the character designs. The lewd content in the game is fantastic, but I wish the sex scenes were animated. There is a threesome scene with Adriana, Ayame, and Robert that is great and it would have been even more epic if it had animation.

Pros:

• The other characters in the game are interesting too
• There are different routes the story can go
• I loved the way that the game looked

Cons:

• The Steam version only has the Robert route and is censored!
• I wish that those hot sex scenes were animated

Fleeting Iris is an erotic visual novel that introduces you to the life of Ayame, an ordinary girl whose life has never been burdened with worries.
