Didnapper 2

While I did not play the first game, Didnapper 2 popped up on my radar and I thought that it looked pretty interesting. This is a lewd RPG and one that has bondage as one of its main themes. Now if you think that is awesome, then great, come on board and have some fun. If bondage is not usually your thing, do not worry as it is not super hardcore. If you like classic JRPGs then I am sure you are going to have a lot of fun with this game. It is well made, has a lot of charm, and is way more challenging than the cute visuals suggest.

Finding The Truth

The plot of Didnapper 2 is pretty good and while it started off rather slow, I did find myself caring about the adventure our heroine Seles found herself on. The game takes place in a magical land where some people are compatible with a magical force that is known as Chroma. The main character, Seles finds herself caught up in a dark plot and she needs to head out into the world, find allies and try to discover the truth about what is going on. It is a kind of fantasy and mystery story and one that gets better as the game goes on.

Getting Tongue Tied

Didnapper 2 is a fantastic looking game. You have your main “RPG Maker” style of gameplay where things are done in that classic top down style which we know and love. Rather than having a retro, pixel art style of graphics like many lewd RPGs do, we have some fantastic artwork that almost looks hand drawn. The CGs in the game are great and feature lots of tied up chicks and there is also a very nice variety here. The combat scenes also feature some nice and smooth animated style artwork too.

Sneaking And Beating

The gameplay on offer here is mainly that of your typical JRPG that is made with RPG Maker. You will take part in various quests and combat to move things forward. Combat is a lot of fun and once you get out of the tutorial, it is also very challenging. You can take enemies head on, or you can sneak up on them to get an advantage in combat, I would recommend doing a mixture of both so you level up and improve more evenly.

Rope Burns

Where Didnapper 2 differs in its gameplay is the bondage thing. During combat, if things go wrong one of the girls can be captured and tied up You then take part in this mini-game where you have to break free from each of the restraints that she has. I thought this was fun and a nice change of pace.

Even though I had not played the first game, I had a great deal of fun here. I ended up beating the game after about 16 hours and that to me was ideal. It had a fun story with some rather interesting, cute, and quirky characters to meet along the way.

Pros:

• The story was fun and had a lot of charm
• I liked adding new characters to my party
• The game has some fantastic art
• I liked the combat and the tied up mini-game

Cons:

• It is not the longest RPG (however, I liked that)
• Some might be put off by the bondage aspect of the game
