Nie No Hakoniwa - Dollhouse of Offerings

Let me start by saying that Nie No Hakoniwa - Dollhouse of Offerings is a horror game first and a porn game second. This is for those of you who love horror, especially dark, messed up, and brutally gory horror! This is a game that does not hold back, but it is not just all here for shock value! If you are into horror, you will love the story being told here as it is fantastic, plus the fact that this game has amazing production values to bring all this gore and horror to life makes it seem like you are experiencing a high end horror movie!

A Special Kind Of Box

The story of Nie No Hakoniwa - Dollhouse of Offerings starts by really doing a great job of setting the scene of the world that we are in. You see, there was a village where the people suffered until one day a stranger with a box appeared and this led to those suffering people being able to rise up, defeat those who oppressed them, and live a life full of love and prosperity. There are seven houses that make up this land, but the original house of this new group, House Shiki has a problem.

House Shiki Needs An Heir

House Shiki only has daughters and the story of Nie No Hakoniwa - Dollhouse of Offerings is about a strange young man called Kurou who was adopted by House Shiki and raised to be a “product” to help keep their house going if you get what I am saying. Kyouko is the eldest daughter and is to be wed to Kurou, but there is another girl, the strange and mysterious, Nozomi. This is a story of love, lust, and death and it has some very graphic and brutal themes such as rape, murder, assault, and even the afterlife. The story does not hold back in any regard and if you have a weak stomach, this is probably not for you. This is a kinetic visual novel so there is only one path and no actual gameplay, but when the story is as good as this is, I am more than ok with that as I feel that multiple paths would have hurt this brutal and violent story.

For The Love Of God, Get The Patch

Off the top of my head, I cannot think of another game more than Nie No Hakoniwa - Dollhouse of Offerings where the R18 patch is essential to the experience. This game does have some sex scenes, that are quite gory and not for the faint of heart. However, these are not just done for shock value or to have sex in the game. These XXX scenes are actually important to the plot and if you play the game without this patch, you are missing out on some pretty important stuff and it could perhaps make it so that the story is harder to follow and straight up not as shocking. If you want to go the Steam route with this game that version does not have the patch with it so make sure you have it installed before you play it, if that is the version you are going for.

Blood, Gore And Sex

Nie No Hakoniwa - Dollhouse of Offerings is one of the most extreme and brutal lewd horror games that I have come across. This game looks amazing, the characters are all designed phenomenally well and the backgrounds are packed with little details. However, the violence, gore, and sex in this game are very extreme. For example, a chick gets off on having her chest crushed! There is blood in the sex scenes and the whole game is just a nightmare from start to end. It is like the horrific scene from Event Horizon where they see the video footage of what they think is hell. I think it is fantastic, but I am a huge horror fan and love stuff like this. I would recommend looking at some of the screenshots and deciding if you think it is too much for you or not.
