Netoria Tactics: Revolution Gold

Let me start by saying that Netoria Tactics: Revolution Gold is so good, I played a “free” version of the game, and then I went and purchased the game. This is one of the best lewd strategy games I have ever played. Actually, off the top of my head, I cannot think of another one that comes close to being as good as what this offers. The story is fantastic, and it does the NTR thing better than any other game that is coming to mind. The combat is fun, challenging and makes you think and to top it all off, this is an absolute piece of XXX art as far as the visuals go.

Saving Their Love

This is a very story-driven game, and it tells a fantastic story of two heroes. Our two main characters in Netoria Tactics: Revolution Gold are a brave man called Carwyn, who is pretty much marked for death, but if he can overcome a series of dangerous trials, he may survive. He is joined on his quest by his beautiful and badass love, Gwenivier, and together, they are going to fight for their love and the life of Carwyn. The game has a very fantasy style to it, and the storytelling is very, very well done. However, there is a twist to this story of love, and that twist comes in the form of some very hot temptation!

Sweet Temptation

The way that Netoria Tactics: Revolution Gold deals with NRT is very interesting. You see, Carwyn and Gwenivier will be joined by people on their journey, and these people, along with enemies, will try and tempt the two into cheating and being corrupted. I do not want to go into too many details, as the writing is fantastic and there is even some “gender-bending” stuff that I was not expecting, but it was all done so very well. Most NTR games turn into bang fests, and while I guess you could argue there is some of that here. However, I feel that the writing is very well done, and it all kind of makes sense. Plus, if you are brave and good enough, you can keep their love pure! There are many ways that the story can go, and I for sure want to see some of the other endings.

Making The Right Moves

With Netoria Tactics: Revolution Gold being a strategy RPG, the gameplay is probably right around what you would expect. You gain more people to fight by your side as you progress; however, it is the positioning of your team that will really make a difference. The turn based battles are fun and challenging, but if you leave either of the two main characters alone for too long in the battle, they can be groped and thus, corrupted. The game offers a nice blend of exploration, combat, and social interactions too. In between battles, you can go around and progress the story and see how much in love our two heroes are or if they have been tempted to stray. What is here is great stuff, but not at the expense of being way too complicated or having a steep learning curve.

Wine Me, Dine Me….

The story is great, there are some very interesting and well-written characters, and the combat and gameplay of Netoria Tactics: Revolution Gold is generally a ton of fun. However, what ties all of this great stuff together are some fantastic visuals. There is a 69 scene with Guinivere and another character called Owain that was a massive highlight of the game for me. The fantasy setting really does shine through, and while the “gameplay” is done in your typical top down perspective. All of the character portraits and the sex scenes are done with a ton of style.

Pros:

• I was really engrossed by the story
• Our two main characters were great
• The RPG gameplay was fun, without being too overbearing
• This game has epic lewd art!

Cons:

• Some fully animated sex scenes would have made this a 10/10!
• If strategy RPGs are not usually your jam, you may have a harder time getting into this
