Yaoi lovers will celebrate Kichiku Megane, a boy love story featuring dazzling graphics and an intriguing storyline. This beautiful boy love visual novel has similar aspects to another game, “No, Thank You!!!” but not all of the men in this story are straight to start with.

Drool worthy characters

If the characters aren’t appealing, whats the point of a yaoi visual novel? Kichiku Megane hits home with some very attractive characters that pull the whole game together. In it, the main character is a salaryman who is subpar in his work, his life, and everything else.

Of course, something happens to change all that. He receives a pair of “Devils glasses” with the ability to spice things up. When he wears them, he is suddenly transformed into a cunning businessman with the willpower and desire to rape his way to the top. There is nothing he won’t do in order to get himself and his sales to the top, and rape is a prime feature in getting there.

Other characters include the loud mouthed and not very bright best friend, Honda Kenji, the spineless Minoru Katagiri, and arrogant Midou Takanori. These characters all end up as victims of the main character at some point during the game.

May not be appropriate for all (adult) audiences

Yaoi in general is not suitable for children, but there are other themes in this that may make adults uncomfortable. In order to succeed in the game, you will essentially rape your way to the top. Rape scenes are part of all endings, even the “good” ones, and they get darker from there. If you are not comfortable with rape as a theme, this will not be a game you want to play.

Point and click style for easy reading

Kichiku Megane is relatively easy to play through. You simply click on choices you want, and read what happens. There are an enormous number of save slots available, so take advantage of them in case you race through an important scene or want to try a different option without starting completely over.

If you don’t want to sit through long scenes involving business and simply want to race to the “good” parts, it’s relatively easy to tell which choices matter and which ones don’t. Once you’ve played the game for a short period of time you’ll get a feel for the difference in important and unimportant cut scenes.
