Hooligan Crusoe

Hooligan Crusoe is a lewd farming game that has a lot of charm to it. This is not going to be something you spend tons of hours with, but I look at that as a positive. This is a game that does not overstay its welcome and I would say that around four hours was what I spent it with and they were four hours that felt very well spent if you know what I am saying. This does all the things you want a lewd farming game to do so if you are into these types of games, I highly recommend that you give it a try.

Lost At Sea

The premise of Hooligan Crusoe may not be all that original, but it works and it works really well. We play as a young man who ends up lost at sea and he ends up washing up on the shore of this little island community. We are welcomed in with open arms and we start to live our life out here. It is not all that deep and it is certainly more of a life sim style of story rather than this big long adventure that we are working through. However, this has a very chill vibe about it all and I liked it.

The Gang Is All Here

While we have washed up on an island in Hooligan Crusoe, there are still many people who call this place home. Ranging from Aunt Lin who runs the martial arts school, Susu, a cat girl, Lilim, a demonic creature, and Yoko an elf. There is a great range of characters here and they are all quite different and chatting with each of them does let you feel like you are legit getting to know them better. Some characters have more story than others and are better written than others, but for the most part, there was no one here that I had to deal with that I did not like at least in a small way.

A Village In The Valley

Think of games like Stardew Valley, but with hot sex and you have the basic idea of what to expect from Hooligan Crusoe. The game has you doing the typical life sim stuff like growing crops, fighting monsters, and building things. You have a series of quests that you need to do and also you chat with the NPCs who will give you jobs to do. Most of the missions, quests, or whatever you want to call them in the game are fetch quests or building quests, but the way that they are presented is a lot of fun so while you do a lot of the same things over and over again, it never gets boring. Although, I will say that it takes way too many hits to break things in order to gather resources. Why do things take several hits before they break?

Smoothing Out Those Pixels

I liked how rather than going for the pixel art style, Hooligan Crusoe instead has a more smoother and modern look. Hey, I like pixel art as much as anyone but so many lewd farming and lewd life sims games use that style. The actual different parts of this island each have their own style and the characters are all designed really well. As there is a demonic character, a cat girl, and an elf to name a few, the characters have a lot of variety to them and also, this makes it very easy to remember who is who. There are a couple of lewd scenes with the characters and these are done quite well with animation, but there were a few where the animation went a little strange and things did look a tad off, but not enough to ruin the experience or anything like that.

Pros:

• I liked the island setting of the game
• There are many interesting and cute characters
• The farming and life sim gameplay is done well
• You do not have to worry about this taking up all of your time

Cons:

• Breaking stuff should be done in just one hit!
• I liked this, but I am not sure it is the kind of game I would play again
