Girls & Dungeons 2

I enjoyed my time with the first game and Girls & Dungeons 2 is offering more of the same dungeon crawling RPG action with some fun lewdness sprinkled over the top. I can see why this is a game that is not going to be for everyone, but I really did have a fun time with this and think that it has a real charm and wit about it that made me smile most of the time I was playing it. If you are looking for a hardcore XXX RPG with tons of graphic sex, this is not for you.

Drinking In The Dungeon

Look the story that Girls & Dungeons 2 is trying to tell is freaking nuts, but that is what I love about it. We have a bartender who wants to be the best around, but one night a cute, but a drunk girl comes into the tavern and he ends up going on a dungeon crawling adventure with her. There is an evil wizard and more importantly, seven spirit maidens, each one based on a particular kind of booze! It may make next to no sense, but I thought it was hilarious and loved how it was not taking itself too seriously.

So Much Style

One of the things that I loved about the original game was the presentation. Girls & Dungeons 2 is an absolutely gorgeous looking game that is like it could be from the 32-bit era. It has these incredible pixel art style graphics that have a ton of detail to them and there are also these amazing character portraits too. The lewd content here is mostly boobs (well that was what I found) so it is not as XXX as some other games, but I still thought it was pretty hot.

The Spirt Maidens

The “High Proof” Spirit Maidens are very hot and each one has a different look to her; these ladies were by far my favorite aspect of the Girls & Dungeons 2. Whiskey with her kind of cowgirl look was my personal favorite, but I got a real kick out of how they were named after drinks like Vodka, Bierka, and Lum to name a few. Each one has a great style and a spunky attitude that I got a real kick out of. These ladies are so awesome that I wish there was some kind of merch like figures based on them.

Crawling In The Dungeon

I will say that the gameplay here is not super deep for an RPG, but the overall charm the game has makes up for it. It is most certainly a dungeon crawler, you go through each area taking part in turn-based battles, completing quests, getting loot, grinding to level up, and so on. There are also these puzzle-like sections that I would say are kind of like a point-and-click style adventure game with the way they play out.

Pros:

• The whole spirit maiden thing was something I found hilarious
• I love the very highly detailed sprite work in the game
• The lewd content here is pretty damn cute
• While simple, I liked the gameplay it offered

Cons:

• Like many other RPGs, there is a fair bit of grinding here
• I do think that it may be a tad too quirky and weird for some people
