Forest of Soul Slave2

I love lewd games, and I love horror, so when Forest of soul slave2 came across my radar, I knew that I had to check this out. Now, this was suggested to me by a buddy, and he knows that I love gory horror, but he felt the need to warn me that this game was pretty extreme with the gore and violence. Well, rather than deter me, that just made me even more interested to see what this was all about. He has suggested other lewd visual novels to me before, but never once has he issued any kind of gore and extreme warning before I played them!

A Good Sister, With Good Intentions

The story of Forest of soul slave2 is something that I am sure we can all get behind. Basically, our main character is a cute elf girl who goes by the name of Philum. Philum has a sister that she loves, but her sister is missing, and now she needs to venture into a dangerous forest if she has any hopes of ever seeing her again. I think that the game does a good job of making you care about Philum and the journey that she is on to save her sister. If you like fantasy games, I am sure you will appreciate the various fantasy tropes that are here, making up this story.

There Is A Reason No One Goes Here

As I said, Forest of soul slave2 is a horror game, and that horror comes in the form of what lives in this old forest. Forests are always creepy in fantasy games, but the setting here is like a character in itself. You are warned about the dangers of this forest and the horrors that live inside it, but you have to go in order to save your sister. I liked how it does follow on from the last game, as we now play the original sister that was trying to be saved in that first game! However, I do not think that you need to have played that original game here, as there is honestly not a ton of depth, so I do not think anyone will find themselves lost as they progress through this.

A Red Ride Not For The Faint Of Heart

Forest of soul slave2 is a very brutal kind of game when it comes to the visuals. Hey, our heroine is easy on the eyes, and the game has a cool and creepy forest as its setting. However, this is very much a horror and gore filled game, and the stuff that happens to our heroin is something that is not going to sit well with some people. I have always appreciated gory horror, and I think if that is something you are also into, you will be able to appreciate the extreme nature of the visuals in this game. However, I can also see why there are probably more people out there who think the way this game looks is not for them.

Who Is That Again?

With Forest of soul slave2 being a lewd visual novel, the gameplay consists of you making choices to get one of the endings. The thing is, the writing in the game gets the message across, but there are certainly some translation issues, and this can cause a couple of quirks in regards to the way you want things to progress. I ended up getting a little bored and just started clicking random stuff to see what would happen, and I did manage to see a few different grisly outcomes for our brave young Philum. This is the kind of game where you could easily see everything that it has to offer you in just one sitting, which, by the way, is not something I am saying is a negative. I sometimes like it when I can get into a game and see it all in one play session and then move on…. Although good luck moving on from the stuff this has to show you!

• There are different outcomes for the main character
• I liked the creepy forest setting

• This is very gory and gross, so not for everyone!
• The story was hard to follow in some places due to the translation
