Forest Of Relics turned out to be a fun 3D platformer with just a little bit of lewdness to its name. I had a lot more fun with this game than I thought I would and in many ways, it has a bit of a retro vibe about it, but not retro in the way you are probably thinking! While the game is a tad on the short side and it does have you doing pretty much the same thing over and over again. I found the game to be well made and kind of addictive as I kept on wanting to try and get through the next level.

I Hear It Calling Me!

There is not much in the way of plot in Forest Of Relics, but the overall premise is decent enough and at the very least gives you a reason to be doing what it is you are doing. We play as a hot treasure hunter called Ruby and she has felt a calling to the forest of relics where all kinds of treasures are said to be hidden. She ends up going there and putting her treasure hunting skills to the test, that pretty much sums up the story!

Raiding Tombs To Make Money!

When I saw a trailer for Forest Of Relics, I will admit that I thought it had a kind of janky vibe about it, but that is not the case at all. Ruby actually controls really well and you can run, jump, climb, and glide your way through each of the levels that the game has in store for you. The game actually feels pretty great and I loved getting into a good groove where I would be running, jumping from platform to platform, climbing walls, and using my glider. The game does even have a boss to contend with as well. It may be kind of basic, but it is still a fun experience, especially if you like 3D platformers.

Back In 06 Not 96

I have read that many people think Forest Of Relics is similar to the original Tomb Raider games and in a way I can see that. We have a hot treasure hunter looking for treasure after all! However, I would say that this game feels more like the reboot Tomb Raider trilogy from the mid 00s, Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld are the Tomb Raider games that this I feel has a bit more in common with as the controls feel more similar to those games than the original titles with their tank like controls.

Just A Little Peak

There is no 18 plus content here in Forest Of Relics! Do not get me wrong, Ruby is smoking hot and those boobs physics are the stuff that Lara Croft wishes she had back in the day. Plus, that dress flowing in the wind and giving you a peak of what she is wearing underneath is fun. the whole game has a decent look to it, but the design of Ruby is clearly the star here! I thought that she was a very gorgeous character model and the level of “lewdness” is similar to something like a Dragon’s Crown, Lollipop Chainsaw, or even Bayonetta.

I know that there may not be a great deal in Forest Of Relics, but what is here is done very well. I had a good time playing through this game and while it may not be the kind of game I rush back to. The time I spent with it was worthwhile and it is a decent lewd-lite platformer. I would legit be very interested to see this developer take what they have done here and flesh it out a bit more as I think that has the potential to be something very special.
