Exomecha

Man, it really sucks that Exomecha ended up getting delayed. To be honest with you, had the game come out when it was supposed to. It would have had some serious first person shooter competition so perhaps it is a blessing in disguise that the game is coming out now in 2022. Still, I thought it would be fun to take a look at what we know about the game so far. Hopefully, it will get a few of you guys and gals excited about this and want to consider checking it out.

Chrome Dome!

One of the things that really made me take notice of Exomecha was just how shiny and bright everything was. From what I have read, the developer wanted to give the game an 80s and 90s sci-fi action movie kind of vibe and that is something I think they have certainly managed to do here.

I have to say that I am not 100 percent sure just what the heck is going on here from a story point of view, but the sci-fi setting is certainly something I think is cool.

Being Classy

At its core, Exomecha is a free to play multiplayer shooter, but there is something that piqued my interest about the gameplay and that is the ability and classy system the game is offering. You are able to fully create your character the exact way you want them. It has a very dynamic kind of system in this regard. The class that you pick will determine what kind of abilities, how many weapons you can have, and so on. Each decision you make in regards to your class will have a knock on effect somewhere else on your build. That is something that really does sound very interesting.

Mech Assault!

As the title Exomecha has probably made you realize, mechs are certainly what this game is about. However, just because you can take control of a badass mech does not mean there are also other ways to get around the map and cause chaos!

There are different vehicles you can pilot here ranging from the small and average jeep to a powerful helicopter and a badass spider tank! You also have this cool grappling hook that lets you zip around the map and you can even use this to zip yourself into a vehicle, hell you can zip from one straight into another!

Pros:

• I love the way everything is so shiny and chrome!
• The game is very fast paced which is something I really like
• You can get very creative with how your character plays
• The game is going to be free to play

Cons:

• Not sure when this is actually going to be released
• I do wonder if the game will have a good story
