BOOBS SAGA: Prepare To Hentai

I was blown away when I came across BOOBS SAGA: Prepare To Hentai Edition! I first played this game… I want to say about four years ago as I write this, and it was a very ambitious full 3D lewd game, but it had basically been abandoned, and I kind of forgot all about it, until, by accident, I came across this hentai edition, which from what I understand is now a full game! Hey, this may not be perfect, but man, I got such a kick out of this one with how over the top it is, and the various lewd games trope and hilarious satire that it has on the lewd game genre was certainly not lost on me.

Tongue In… Cheek!

The bat poop crazy story of this game is one of the most insane that I have come across in a while, and I loved it. I remember the first time I played BOOBS SAGA: Prepare To Hentai Edition, I cracked up over the crazy story, and after all these years, it is still hilarious. We play the role of a hot babe, a hot babe with a great rack and a nice round butt. But our great body has not gone unnoticed, and we have been kidnapped by The King of Boobs, and he wants to make us his sex slave and other weird stuff. We need to help this babe escape from this dastardly king. This game is not taking itself seriously at all, and I thought that was awesome.

Batman, Take Note!

What we have here in the gameplay department is a full 3rd person adventure game, and that back when I first played this was very impressive. BOOBS SAGA: Prepare To Hentai Edition, though, has way more competition than it did when it had its initial release five or perhaps even more years ago! You need to sneak around, looking for items and weapons to fight the enemies, and it is the weapons that make this game. The freaking strap-on plasma gun is hilarious, and there is even a titty grappling hook! The game has these Batman like gadgets that she can use, and I found that awesome. I am not sure if the combat is supposed to be something of a Souls Like experience or not. But just walking around and not knowing what the heck is going to happen next is a huge part of the appeal of this game.

Knowing What I Know

There is a level of jank in BOOBS SAGA: Prepare To Hentai Edition that you have to play to really appreciate. This game is buggy as hell, and I remember the unfinished version I played all those years ago being buggy too, and I am not sure of what they actually fixed with this version. The camera is super sensitive when you try to position it just right; she constantly seems to walk into the wall, even though I made a real effort for her not to. The combat is funny due to the crazy weapons, but it seemed like a real crapshoot whether I won or not, and the game crashed on me at least three times; one time I literally had to hold the power button down on my PC to shut the whole thing down. It was a very long time ago I played this, so I cannot say for sure what they have added, apart from finishing the game. But I can say that I am pretty sure it is just as janky as the first time I played it.

Yup, What I Expected!

You have to give them credit for the ambition here; I am sure making a game like BOOBS SAGA: Prepare To Hentai Edition and having it be a full 3rd person adventure in a 3D world is not easy, and I think that the presentation is pretty solid. Like the story of the game, the presentation is 100 percent over the top and crazy! The King of Boobs is not messing around with his décor; the vagina looking door openings are a prime example of the level of humor here, and you can customize your babe, but I had her just be naked, as that is what I felt fit the tone of the game best. The XXX content here is decent, but I think they could have gone way further with it, especially when you consider how crazy the rest of the game is. Although what the Plasma Strap On Gun does, I will leave to your imagination.

Pros:

• I freaking loved how crazy the story was
• The XXX Batman style gadgets and weapons are hilarious
• There is no denying that this is an ambitious project
• The jank kind of adds to the insane charm

Cons:

• I am not exactly sure what this “hentai edition” fixes
• The jank and bugs are pretty bad and will turn many people off
