Assault on St. Purielle

Assault on St. Purielle is a decent lewd RPG that has a fun superhero gimmick where you play as a female superhero who is looking to save her town. Honestly, it does not do anything remarkable, but at the same time, it is a fun time waster, and I found myself pretty compelled to keep on wanting to play. If you do like RPG porn games and games that have a superhero style story, I highly recommend giving this a try as I think there is a good chance that it will click with you.

Just A Normal Girl!

The story of Assault on St. Purielle is something that I had a lot of fun with, as it is about a young girl called Liona. Liona is a normal, everyday girl, but she is given superpowers and she has now become the superhero, St. Priere. Her home city is filled with crime by an organization that loves to sexually assault people, and now only Liona, under the guise of St. Priere, can put a stop to it. If you dig superhero stories and, in some ways, there is a bit of the iconic Kickass about this, I think that you will have a lot of fun playing the role of a young woman who ends up with superpowers.

A Hero's Job Is Never Done

I will say that the gameplay of Assault on St. Purielle is nothing all that remarkable, but what is here works pretty well. You have two styles of quests, you have your story quests, which will as you have probably already figured out, move the story forward as you make your way to the big bad boss. There are also daily quests, and these are things that you do for the townsfolk, be it finding something, stopping a crime, cleaning up some graffiti, and so on. You earn EXP by doing quests and beating bad guys. It may not be the most unique lewd RPG I have ever played, but it all works really well. My only real gripe is that navigation can be hard. For example, I had to find this factory, and the entry point was so small, I walked past it at least 50 times!

Make Me Stronger

The one unique gimmick that Assault on St. Purielle has going on is that it is very easy to level up our heroine, as there is something called the Repentance System. The enemies in the game want to sexually assault our heroine, but this works in our favor as the Repentance System means that we get EXP for this and they will “repent,” thus, change their ways from the sexual deviants that they are. It is a fun system and a good way to let the player see the XXX content, but not at the expense of having to make the player “lose” and re-do stuff or level up slower. Another neat “gimmick” is the transformation system, where, depending on whether we are our regular self or the hero, people will talk and react to us differently.

Up, Up And Away… To Bang!

While I do think that the game could be a little clearer during gameplay, as Assault on St. Purielle does make it hard to know what you can and cannot interact with or what is and what is not an entryway. For the most part, this is a game that has a really charming look to it. The top down perspective works well, and I got a few chuckles out of the quirky design of some of the characters. Where this game really excels in the presentation department is with the sex scenes. You get these large and very impressive pieces of lewd art that truly will blow your mind. Our heroine is super adorable, so seeing her get banged every which way she can is some fun stuff. Although there is a lot of tentacle stuff here that is not my cup of tea, but I can at least appreciate how well done it is.

• The repentance system is pretty cool

• Some of the stuff on the overworld could be a bit clearer
• The tentacle porn is not for me
