Anastasia and the Lewd Curse

It was the main character of Anastasia and the Lewd Curse that drew me to the game, as I thought that she had that perfect blend of cute and naughty; you could just tell that she had some real attitude! This is a lewd adventure game, and it is one that is certainly more on the linear side. However, I think that works to the game's advantage as the lewd content here is a lot of fun…. If you can unlock it, which I will go into more detail about in just a second or two.

A Magical Quest

There is no Mickey Mouse here, but Anastasia and the Lewd Curse does have a story that has magic at the center of it. Our main character is a feisty, almost bratty chick called Anastasia, and she is a student at a magical school. Well, students have been going missing, and she is going to try and find out what is really going on! To make matters worse, a curse has fallen on her, and this curse strips away her magical powers and makes her super horny! She needs to save her fellow students, all the while keeping her horniness in check, which is easier said than done!

The Dungeon And The Classroom

As I said in the intro, Anastasia and the Lewd Curse is a very linear kind of game. The gameplay has you being thrown into a dungeon, and you need to navigate the dungeon, finding items, solving puzzles, and using items. It is pretty basic stuff, and if I am being honest, it is mostly walking from point A to point B in order to complete whatever your objective is. There is a masturbation mechanic in the game where Anastasia gets so horny that she has to get herself off, but that is something that is handled a little bit weirdly.

Wait, Where Was The Lewd Action?

The thing is, Anastasia and the Lewd Curse handles the gameplay rather strangely. The game throws you in the dungeon, and if you do things right, you can beat the game in like an hour or so… but if you do that, you do not see any of the lewd content! You have to actually leave the dungeon in order to unlock the XXX content. It is very strange, and I had a friend who played through the game after I recommended it to them, and they got none of the lewd scenes due to the way they played it. Now, you could argue that it is the error of the player, but the game gives you no indication that you will not get any XXX scenes if you just stay in the dungeon. Actually, I can see why some people may think that you ARE supposed to stay in the dungeon.

When You Do See It, It Is Awesome!

The thing is, while the lewd content may not be all that obvious when it comes to how to actually see it, Anastasia and the Lewd Curse is an awesome-looking game. Anastasia is a total babe, and seeing her give in to her cursed sexual urges is awesome, and I love how descriptive the writing is for the scenes as well. While the XXX content is great, the rest of the game is done in your typical RPG Maker style, which is not a bad thing, actually. I think the magical school has a lot of charm to it, and exploring it was something that I did enjoy. The game looks great, it really does, but it just sucks that they make it so awkward to see all of the best stuff the game has to offer.
