While A secret cohabitation life kept from Onee-chan is super weird, there was just something about this very quirky, lewd, for lack of a better term, life sim game that kept me hooked!

Little Simpsons reference for you there. Anyway, this is a weird game about a brother and sister who live together, and the sister is a streamer, and they play like they are in a relationship. Well, after getting a lot of money, they start to realize that there is some kind of affection meter above them, and now they realize that their relationship is starting to take a turn! I wish I could go into more detail here, but the version of the game I played is all in Japanese.

From what I could gather as I was fumbling my way through A secret cohabitation life kept from Onee-chan, this is a life sim. You need to do tasks that make the affection meter grow; these range from eating together, offering presents, playing games, and so on. There are a few different buttons on the screen, and I found myself clicking around and doing things for the sister, and then this would make the affection grow, and I assume this is how I was unlocking the XXX content. I managed to play through a decent chunk of the game, so when it is fully translated, I cannot see it being all that hard to complete.

Two Perfect Styles

There are two styles to the presentation of the game. The actual gameplay happens from a kind of isometric point of view, and it just has a ton of personality. The chibi style of the pixel art is super charming and has a real cuteness about it. This is a strange comparison, but the rooms kind of remind me of the way that the cozy game, Unpacking, looks. Anyway, in addition to this, you unlock these fantastic-looking XXX scenes that are done in a much higher-end kind of art style, and these look awesome!

Pros:

• There is a real quirkiness about this game that I loved
• The two different art styles are awesome
• I found the game pretty easy to progress through

Cons:

• As of writing, there is no English translation
• The whole brother-sister thing will turn some people off
