Winter Games

Winter Games is another multi-sport video game based on sports presented in the Winter Olympic Games. Released by U.S. Gold in Europe, in 1985, it was developed by Action Graphics and published by Epyx, Inc.

Playing this game you may compete in such kind of sports as alpine skiing, ski jumping, biathlon Bobsled, figure skating, speed skating, luge, freestyle skiing (the aerial skiing discipline, called "Hot Dog"). The player may choose a few or just one event. Or may compete in all of them sequentially. May also have some practice.

In 1986 Winter Games was released for the Commodore 64. Later on it was ported to several popular PCs and 1980 video game consoles.

Winter Games has got a World Record facility. A record, you have got during a game, will be automatically included in the record tables. They can be viewed with the option screen. Sadly, this table cannot be saved. But at least you will be able to keep count of your best efforts. Or even throw down a challenge to your friends.
