Action and military are always popular, and they have been ever since the beginning of video game history. But every now and then, they have to way beyond their comfort zones they've already been pretty successful in. Currently, in this day and age, many franchises have been struggling to find a way to adapt to the mobile gaming ecosystem, and this popular franchise wasn't going to be left behind. So, Tom Clancy's The Division: Resurgence is the latest title in the popular franchise, and it does bring a lot to the mobile gaming table. So, what's this new title all about? About the game

The plot of this new The Division: Resurgence, will take us to a contemporary New York to live the events before the first The Division and The Division 2. Beyond this, which will interest every fan of the franchise, Ubisoft allows us to take a first look at all the mechanics prepared for delivery, which aims to strengthen the elements of customization and equipment upgrades through missions and experiences set in an open world.

The game gives us free roam in this open world, but we are also able to follow the linear objectives to progress and explore the story. It has a class system in which depending on the class you choose, you'll get different sets of weapons and abilities. For example, the Vanguard class will allow you to detect enemies in your surroundings, and the Demolitionist will, obviously, be an expert in explosives.

However, the enemy factions also have their own means of taking us down, as each has unique abilities such as drones that are difficult to take down quickly. To face such threats, we will be able to deepen our combat strategies as we improve the classes and specialties of our characters with a skill tree. This is complemented by a crafting system that will help us to be prepared for any battle.

Did they handle the transition well?

Going into the mobile gaming world isn't easy at all. Many franchises have found different ways to do it, ranging from Call of Duty with their incredible Call of Duty Mobile to games like Pokémon going for completely different versions like Pokemon Go and Pokemon Masters EX. Tom Clancy's The Division: Resurgence is aiming to convert its traditional gameplay experience into a mobile version.

The game has an interface adapted to mobile devices and allows us to configure the controls according to our preferences. In addition, the developer is aware that the game time on mobiles can be quite different from that recorded on other video game platforms, and that is why the time required to complete missions, encounters, and activities has been shortened to be more comfortable to play in our mobile systems
