The Witch of the End

The Witch of the End features an anime art style with an extremely hot MC. Big chested with cute horns and a devilish look to her, she is the highlight of the entire game. The backdrops and bosses are also decent, but the backdrops and gore from losses are often recycled in the game, which is somewhat disappointing.

More Work Needed on Game Function

Although the game is listed as complete, the Witch of the End could have benefited from more work before release. There’s no music, animations are stiff, controls are stiffer, and sometimes the jump function doesn’t work at all.

Most frustrating is that boss fights don’t give the player any level ups, because the player is warped out of the area before they can reach the player.

This game has the potential to be good, but it plays like it is in Alpha instead of a completed piece. With so many other adult 2D platformers out there like The Adventures of Kincaid, these games really need to stand out. This game needed more polish before being released.

Sex Scenes only on Losses

This is an adult game, but if you’re looking forward to some consensual couplings you’ll have to look elsewhere. Sex scenes only occur when you lose and can be rather grotesque rape scenes. The boss losses are especially brutal and are more gore than sex. Angles for viewing are also unusual, and not always an improvement on more traditional angles. While some of the scenes are hot, it’s a tossup what sort of scene you’re going to get. The gallery doesn’t work for some players either, so you may not be able to review them if you did find a scene hot.

Review

The Witch of the End features an incredibly hot, well-designed character, exciting bosses and some interesting backdrops. Unfortunately, stiff animations and clunky controls make it harder to enjoy the game.
