I have to say that Chronicles of Hell and Heaven has one of the coolest sounding titles for a lewd game I have ever seen! This sounds like the title of a heavy metal album from the 80s that would have some badass artwork on it! What we have here is a lewd game that has a very interesting story, a story that pretty much from the opening moments got me interested and invested in what was going on so I wanted to keep on playing.

Kicked Out Of Hell!

How bad of a badass do you have to be to get kicked out of hell? Our main character in Chronicles of Hell and Heaven is a demon who had an affair with the demon lord’s daughter and now he has been banished to Earth. He is given a task to complete and if he does this, he can get back into hell. However, pretty much every chick this guy comes across wants what he has between his legs. I think the idea of a demon trying to get back to hell is very interesting!

Sticking With The Right Tone

While I love the idea of the story that Chronicles of Hell and Heaven is telling, I do feel that the execution could have been a bit better. This to me seems like a story that should be serious, but the tone is all over the place. Sometimes it can be downright goofy and silly which just feels at odds with the main story theme. I do like how we get to see things from many characters' points of view, but this is a game that I feel would have been better if the story was edited more as the tonal shifts started to make me lose interest the deeper in I got.

I Go Walking!

One of the strangest things about Chronicles of Hell and Heaven is that it was made using RPG Maker, but there is not any RPG gameplay here. I saw someone else say that this is more like a walking simulator as you just go from one area to the next to activate the next story thread and I would say that is the best way to describe what this game has going on. There is no combat, puzzles, or adventure style gameplay. So, think of this as more of a lewd visual novel as far as the gameplay goes.

The Buff Demon Lord!

For me, the best thing that Chronicles of Hell and Heaven has going for it is the visuals. The MC is a very good looking dude, well apart from the horns on his head, but hey, who am I to judge, this could be the style in hell for all I know! The characters all are designed very well and the XXX content is great. There are many animated sex scenes in this game and they are all done very well and are what I liked best about this game. Once the story started to lose me, it was the visuals that actually kept me interested.

Overall, Chronicles of Hell and Heaven is a decent lewd game. I think that this is a game that could have done with a bit of trimming as far as the story does. What is here has some real potential. But for most of the story, while it starts out very interesting, I found that it was like the writer could not decide if he wanted it to be serious or funny. Thankfully, the fantastic XXX content was so good, it kept me wanting to push through and play some more.
