The Hard Way

I have to say that The Hard Way is one of the most ambitious lewd sandbox games that I have come across in quite some time. As I was reading the description of the game, I was getting very excited at the possibility of what this game could offer, things like characters aging and a long plot made me think that this could be something very special. As I write this the game is still being worked on, but already there is a lot of content here for you to sink your teeth into.

Just A Small Town Boy

The plot of The Hard Way I think is going to be something you either dig or you do not. I am a huge sci-fi nerd so I thought that the whole thing of this conspiracy regarding this little town that ties into the field of edge science was pretty damn cool. Add to this, our main character has returned home after a long time away (there was a kidnapping) and there are a bunch of attractive ladies in the town and you have a lot going on.

How Many Characters?

One of the things that intrigued me about The Hard Way before I played it was how it talked about having lots of characters and locations. As I write this, I could not even tell you how many characters are in the game and it is not even the finished version yet! There are characters all over the place, they each have something to say and so far, the majority of ones that I have come across have XXX scenes attached to them. The only downside is that it can be hard to keep track of who everyone is.

Where Do You Go To…? My Lovely!

Now that is an obscure reference, even for me! However, The Hard Way as I mentioned also has many different locations. As I write this, I think there were eight different locations in the game. Like most other sandbox games, being somewhere at a certain time, meeting someone somewhere specific, and so on are all part of the game. The grinding is bordering on being a tad obnoxious as the way you earn money (especially during the weekends) feels like it could be sped up a bit and the game would be better for it. On the plus side, it is very generous with how it dishes out the lewd content!

Let’s Get It On

The presentation and the XXX content in The Hard Way is very well done. Even in the current unfinished state of the game, you still have many XXX scenes with many different characters to enjoy. Some of the scenes are very similar I will admit, but considering how many characters there are in this game (and it is my understanding more are to come!) I think that they did a great job of making the characters look as different as possible.

Pros:

• I enjoyed the sci-fi story that was being told
• It is crazy how many characters there are for you to interact with
• The game has plenty of XXX content already
• There is always something that you need to be doing in this game

Cons:

• The cast of characters is large, but it can be hard to keep track of
• The grinding could be toned down a tad
