One of the most noteworthy things about Sweet Dream Succubus is the backstory of the game. This is brought to us by two very prominent names in the world of NSFW entertainment. The adult XXX artist Doxy and high-profile cosplayer, Swimsuit Succubus joined forces to bring us this interesting lewd visual novel game that is sure to be something you never forget!

Daydream Believer

In talking about the story, I am kind of limited to what I say as that is the most important aspect of the game, well that and all of the hardcore action in the game of course. However, I can say that Sweet Dream Succubus has a very interesting story. You are “caught” by a succubus that just has her way with you over and over again and you are stuck in a time loop.

While this may sound like the ultimate dream come true, it is not actually as great as it sounds and you are looking for a way out. The story has many twists and turns and I found the writing to be very amusing in places and shocking in others.

Has To Be Seen To Be Believed

If any of you have checked out Doxy’s work you know what you are in store for here. This is some of the best artwork you will ever see in a XXX game and I am sure it is one of the main reasons why people would be interested in Sweet Dream Succubus in the first place. I really cannot oversell how good this game looks. It is not just the sexiness of it all either, the whole game has this dream-like coating to it. It is hard to explain, but off the top of my head, I cannot think of another visual novel style game that looks like this one does.

Of course, there are many types of sex acts that you can check out here which is awesome. My only criticism with the visuals (and it is a pretty big one) is that there is no gallery viewer! How do you make a game that looks this good and not have some kind of gallery in place for people to look at the images once they have seen them in the story?

Getting To The Bottom Of It

The gameplay on offer here is what you would expect from a visual novel style game. You will be reading the story and you have to pay attention as it is kind of a puzzle. You see, you will have to gather the right pieces of information so that you can answer the questions that you get at the end of the day. It really makes you pay more attention to what is being said.

There is a bit of an annoying issue, however. You see the text scrolls at a slow pace, most games if you press a button it will scroll faster, but here the text will jump to the next line. This is very frustrating, especially if you press a button by accident.

Pros:

• The artwork is truly phenomenal
• Plenty of different forms of sex here for your amusement
• The story and the writing are very good
• The game has an interesting backstory
• It really makes you pay attention to what is being said

• Why on earth is there no gallery feature?
• You can skip entire lines of dialogue if you press a button
