The RPG games are like a blank canvas. The developers can create excellent stories that can captivate the hearts of everyone who plays the game, and the players can put themselves in the skin of the main character, trying to live those excellent stories. A great example of this is SunnySide, a game that looks like a farmer simulator, but in reality, it hides many more things, like a story to tell, characters to meet, animals to pet, and a story waiting to be told.

What Can You Do To The New Plot Of Land?

In SunnySide, you are a Japanese guy or a girl who bought a small plot of land very far away from their hometown in search of their true identity. It’s like a trip down yourself, where you’ll meet deep characters that always have something to say.

Life will not be easy here; you’ll have to learn to adapt to your new farm life. This means you’ll have to learn how to take care of your crops and animals, fish, clean, and meet with the people around you while creating strong bonds that will help you later on. Or you can be a moron with them, that’s also an option.

A Farmer-like Dating Simulator?

I wouldn’t think so. Interacting with people is vital in SunnySide; your friends will gladly help you if you need it, and will also teach you many useful things to survive in the game.

Japan knows how to create characters, that’s for sure; you’ll never forget the people you’ll meet in your adventure.

A 3-D Stardew Valley

SunnySide has its own charm; all the different ambiances and places look splendid, and the animals, even though they don’t look realistic at all, are very cute (you’ll feel the need of hugging a cow after playing this game), and there is nothing out of place.

You can customize your character in any way you like, which is great, as it gives you more chances to enjoy a faithful “I’m in the game” experience! Its character creation system is a bit limited, yet it doesn’t mean it’s not very cool. The only problem is that all characters look a bit alike; this isn’t a big problem considering they are always interacting, changing their expressions, and talking to you.

About the gameplay, it can sometimes feel rough; that’s a normal thing when we talk about a game that is still in development, nonetheless, it won’t mess up the experience of playing this game.

Lastly, some animations of your character are a bit shaky; again, not a dealbreaker issue, but it can sometimes set you out of the roleplay.
