Siege the Day

Siege the Day is my kind of battle game! this is a real time tactics-based battle game where you go head-to-head with other players trying to make sure you are the king of the castle! It is a game that while tactical in its design, is all about having a lot of fun with other players… as you watch them cry because you sent a huge ass dragon to destroy their castle! If you like PvP tactics games then you are in for a real treat with this one here.

I Am The King Of My Castle!

From what I can tell there is no big story that you are playing through in Siege the Day. I am fine with that, to be honest as they are not going for that kind of game, but it may be a bit disheartening for you guys who need a story to push them through a game. I think that they have created a decent world here that has magic and kings and knights in it so it would have been cool if they had crafted a full lore here too.

The Building Blocks Of War

Before you can try to destroy another castle, you have to build your own. Siege the Day gives you pretty awesome creations tools to play with. You need to build your walls, barracks, special parts that will help you fight, and so on. There is quite a lot here for you to play around with so each castle build can be quite unique which is cool.

Prepare The Cannons

You have quite a lot of artillery to play around with here as you try to take down your opponent’s castle. For example, you can decide to use these ice cannons that will fire ice at them. Or, you may want to heat things up with a catapult that can launch fire! There are even dragons that you can call in to do some damage. You may decide that having your troops fully upgraded is the way to go. I like how there is a lot of freedom for the player to decide what the best form of attack is.

Being Smart

You may think that just launching rocks, fire, and having a steady flow of arrows is the way to go, but there is more to Siege the Day than just that. You can be quite crafty with how you attack in the game.

You can blow up their walls or even their gate, allowing your ground forces to roam inside and cause damage. You can blast their barracks, causing disruption to their troops! There are many fun tactics that you can use in the game as you try to show your supremacy.

Pros:

• I love how there are many offensive options in the game
• You also have a lot to think about in regards to defense too!
• I love the whole art style and theming that the game has
• Dragons are here and dragons are always cool!

Cons:

• The game is lacking a huge story
• You really have to be playing against other people to get the best out of this
