I am not sure what is going on, but I have been playing a lot of weird games lately, and RINSE AND REPEAT certainly fits into that category. This is actually a game that was released a few years back, but as well as the regular version, it was recently given an HD coat of paint which is what made the game fly across my radar, I actually think this was showcased on various gaming streams a few years back. Anyway, let us take a look at what exactly is going on in this game!

Crushing On Your Crush!

The whole point of RINSE AND REPEAT is to try and make this hunky dude that you have a crush on at your gym like you. This is one very cool and good-looking dude and we have a major thing for him and by making him happy in the shower, one day he may like us! You may think that getting it on with him is the ultimate goal here but from what I could tell that is not actually the case and it is all about getting his approval. I could be wrong here, but I do not actually think there is any sex in this game or if there is, I never got it to happen.

Wearing Shades In The Shower

You know you are dealing with a cool dude when they are wearing sunglasses in the shower. RINSE AND REPEAT even before the “HD remaster” was a good-looking game. It takes place in a gym and there are two areas, one is like a locker room with a whiteboard that has the gym schedule and the other is the shower where dudes are getting clean. The people’s “junk” is blurred out, but I am sure there is some kind of patch. Our crush is a good-looking dude and the way he wears shades for no reason at all to shower is pretty awesome. If you are a wrestling fan, I kind of get Orange Cassidy vibes from this guy!

You Little Scrubber!

If you are from the UK, you will get that cheeky slang! Anyway, the whole point of RINSE AND REPEAT is to gain your crush's approval by helping him get clean in the shower. He will tell you the areas that you need to scrub and then at the end of the “session”, he will rate you for your performance. You move the “hand” around his body with the mouse and you need to keep it in the designated area or he will not be happy.

Now, before you can do this, you need to head to that whiteboard and make sure you are in the shower when one of the classes is happening so you know for sure he will be in the shower. At the end of the session, he will give you a score, I think the highest I managed to get was in the 70s.

RINSE AND REPEAT is a very strange kind of game, but there is certainly a strange charm and something about the game that kept me playing for longer than I thought I would. I have to say the fact that this guy is wearing sunglasses in the shower is just so odd, but it works and makes you kind of like the dude even more! There is not exactly a lot to the gameplay and I doubt I will come back to this, but give it a go, it certainly makes for an interesting game to talk about.

He is certainly a good looking guy!
There is a little bit of strategy at play with how you have to be in the shower at a certain time
It is a solid looking game
