Onechanbara z2 chaos

Onechanbara z2 chaos may have a crazy name, but the crazy name is very fitting as this is one incredibly over the top game. I have to say that this is the kind of game where you have to know what you are getting into before you play it. This is one of those games that is not a game of the year or anything like that. Yet, it is super fun, crazy and over the top game with just enough lewdness in it to get you excited.

Sisters Of Doom

Like many other crazy Japanese games that are brought to the West, the story on offer here is freaking nuts. What I got from it was that we have two sets of sisters from two rival “clans” we have the Vampirics the Banefuls. These are rivals and they end up on the wrong end of a beating from an evil zombie girl.

The story of Onechanbara z2 chaos is one that may not make sense. Yet, as you play through the game you do not care and you just go with the flow. In many ways, it reminds me of the craziness that is a game like Bayonetta or Lollipop Chainsaw and I mean that in a complimentary way.

Hot, But Rough

The presentation on offer here is a very mixed bag. The character models look and move great, they are very fluid and have nice…proportions. There is a nice variety to the monster designs in the game too and I love how blood-covered things could get. The game has a solid framerate too so I have no complaints about that.

The thing with the game is that they clearly put all their attention on the character models. The various locations in the game have a bit of a rough, almost last generation look to them and that can be quite jarring to see.

There Will Be Blood

This is a game that is very fun to play. It is a hack and slash style of game where you get to put a beating on all kinds of monsters. You will also have to fight some bosses that will require you to think about what you are doing. I like this as while much of the action is all about getting crazy. The bosses will test you and make sure that you are paying attention and varying your attacks.

As these girls are not “human” you can build up into this awesome mode where you are a powerful beast that can-do massive damage. I had a lot of fun when this would be active and it was awesome seeing all of the blood flies. I will admit that there is not exactly a great deal to the gameplay that is on offer here, but what is here I found to be fun.

Pros:

• The game is very easy to get into
• The story made no sense, but I kind of liked it
• Each character has a lot of personality
• There is a cool variety of creatures you have to kill
• You can pick what mission to do and when

Cons:

• The gameplay is a tad on the shallow side
• The backgrounds are pretty ugly
