The Fate of Irnia

I must admit that I was brought to The Fate of Irnia by another game called S.H.E.L.T.E.R which is made by the same person. This is a lewd game that is funded via Patreon and it is one that does not seem to be getting as much attention as it deserves as a great deal of time and effort has been clearly spent on making this.

Will You Save Your Land?

The game has a very fantasy-based setting, style, story, and set of characters. I always find that a fantasy setting fits an XXX game very well and The Fate of Irnia is no different. This time our main character is a spunky young heroine that lives in a land where every 12 years Orcs invades and causes major chaos. The land usually survives, but the battle takes its toll and last time this happened, our heroines’ father was the hero of the war, but he perished in the process, now it is up to you to save the land.

The story is fantastic. I was very impressed with how much there was to it. I read that there were “no wrong answers” in this game as the story has so many branching paths and endings that no matter what you do, another path will open up.

A Strong Start

The visuals of The Fate of Irnia have been the subject of a fair bit of discussion online. People seem to state that the game starts off strong, but then the visuals slowly start to get less impressive. I am not sure I would go that far, but clearly, you can tell that there was more of a budget or more time during the early part of the game, but I do not feel it is as noticeable as many people are saying. I will say that the developer’s other game, S.H.E.L.T.E.R has a much stronger and higher-quality visual style.

Still, this is a very well-made game that is perhaps just lacking that extra bit of polish. I do like the sound design though and the fact that there is voice acting as part of this game is very impressive as many other XXX visual novel games do not have this.

Always Moving

This is a very large visual novel game in terms of the amount of story that is on offer here. Look, The Fate of Irnia has a ton of XXX sex action and that is done very well. However, the story here is awesome, especially if you love fantasy-based stories. You have plenty of choices to make as you progress through the game and there are a ton of characters, and the majority of characters you come across will have many different scenes that can occur depending on what you do.

I feel that for a visual novel game there is a decent amount of content on offer here. However, on the Patron page, a ton more content is planned for this game ranging from a first-person mode, a castle you can upgrade, more outfits, and so on and even extra voice acting.

• The visuals are best at the start of the game
