In the Old World, the Queen demands that her domain be expanded. You have been selected as her governor, and she has entrusted you with carrying out her will in the New World. She will provide colonists, transportation, and tools, and it’s up to you to take these islands and mold them into successful colonies worthy of the Queen and her kingdom. All that is asked of you is that you share the wealth of the new colonies. Pay your taxes, sell goods, and continue to expand the Queen’s borders to keep her happy. If you aren’t concerned with making her happy, you could always refuse to pay your taxes or declare yourself a sovereign nation and keep everything for yourself, but that will incur her wrath.

Take Care of Your Citizens

The islands you’ll find and inhabit will never be the same between explorations or playthroughs thanks to the dynamically generated world map, which is formed with hand-crafted elements. On the islands, you’re the head honcho! You call the shots, and the lives and well-being of your citizens are entirely in your hands. Carefully plan out your colonies, use the freeform building system to place important buildings, and keep track of your citizen’s every need to keep them happy.
