Lust Knight Lisa

Office worker by day, protector against the hordes of insatiable lust by night – Lisa does it all! In Lust Knight Lisa, players take control of a valiant (if somewhat weak-willed) knight as she explores four different dungeons, each filled with its share of carnal perversions. The RPG every pervert had been waiting for, Lust Knight Lisa checks every box when it comes to fetishes and kinks.

Despite using the classic RPG Maker engine, Lust Knight Lisa manages to keep you guessing by including all sorts of content you wouldn’t expect from your average hentai RPG. Sure, there’s the usual corruption and NTR stuff, but once transformation and BDSM kick in, you’ll be surprised by the sheer amount of content Lust Knight Lisa has to offer.

Displaced Dungeons

Lust Knight Lisa takes a page out of Persona 3’s book by implementing its own version of the Midnight Hour, known as Time Displacements. Every night, when one of these displacements occurs, Lisa gets transported to kinky domains, where she must endure all sorts of shameful perversions to come out stronger.

While it might seem like avoiding every sexual situation is the key to success, the best strategy here is to indulge in them just enough to farm XP. Similarly to Corruption of Champions, even the most perverted scenarios can turn Lisa into a more adept fighter – as long as you don’t fully give in to temptation, of course.

Eye of the Beholder

Now, as much as I enjoyed my time playing Lust Knight Lisa, there’s something I could never get into: the game’s art style. Sure, there were some issues with the combat mechanics, but that’s just par for the course in most RPG Maker projects. The art style, however, caught me entirely off-guard.

I’ve played some games with “questionable” art, like Summertime Saga. That said, Lust Knight Lisa takes the cake in terms of uneven quality. As much as I loved to see a wide variety of, let’s say, “tastes” included in the game, some characters look decidedly better than others. Still, most of the art is decent enough – it’s just a bit of a mixed bag depending on the character and the fetish.

RPG Dynamics

At its heart, Lust Knight Lisa is an RPG. The clear references to the Persona series make that evident enough. However, as a role-playing game, the game can leave a bit to be desired. As I mentioned earlier, the combat is mostly there just for show. It felt a bit like playing Cattle Castle 2: once you’ve mastered the basics, you become borderline unstoppable.

Still, we all know that “good combat” isn’t the reason why you would play a game called “Lust Knight Lisa.” Looking past the disappointing combat, it’s incredible how the developer managed to include all sorts of fetishes as gameplay mechanics in this game. Chances are, you’ll find exactly what tickles your fancy in Lust Knight Lisa.
