Lovey-Dovey Lockdown

I thought that Lovey-Dovey Lockdown was a very well-done lewd game; it came so close to going from being very good to being great! This is great if you love games with a good story.

Your Time Is Now

The story here is pretty solid. We play the role of a guy who is spending some time locked down with a girl he crushed on during his college days. She is now married, but things are not going so well. Basically, we spend quality time with her, make her feel special, and she very well could end up being ours. This is a very good story, sure, I would have done some things a little differently, like the cheating angle, I think, should have been established earlier. But I was still very invested in what was going down here.

Using Your Time Wisely

While I would certainly not say that Lovey-Dovey Lockdown is the deepest game as far as the gameplay goes. What is here works well enough. You have a certain number of action points that you can use each day. You can chat with her, massage her, and do other things to build her affection. Of course, one thing leading to another is the aim here, and you will have to repeat your actions a few times until the next option unlocks. To be fair, I think the quality of the story and the connection that it builds make this far less repetitive than it actually is on paper.

I Can See Why He Loves Her

Olivia is the name of our would-be love, and it is very easy to see why this dude has been crushing on her so hard since he met her in college. She is very easy on the eyes, and the slightly scaled-back anime style that the game has works very well here. The XXX content is fantastic and a natural progression of these two being stuck together and getting more and more intimate as time goes on.

There are a few different ways that things can go, so while you may see some scenes over and over again. From my experience, there are some that are tied to a specific ending, so there is a bit of replay value here.

• It may be a tad on the repetitive side for some people
• The translation could be tightened up a little
