Living with Temptation: American Sunset

Living with Temptation: American Sunset is one of those games that I was sure I was going to like before I played it. However, I was actually pretty surprised by just how much I loved this game! This was very, very impressive and as I write this, we are pretty early in 2025 and it is easily one of the best lewd games that I have played so far this year. If something is going to top this for me, it is going to have to be something that is very special indeed.

More Of A Remake Than A Remaster

If you are getting a sense of familiarity from Living with Temptation: American Sunset there is a good reason for this. This is a game that had its very first release all the way back in 2011 and it did get a few updates over the next couple of years, but then it was pretty much just left dormant. The developer decided to revise the game and this is more like a complete remake than just some kind of remaster with better graphics and streamlined gameplay. Off the top of my head, I honestly do not know what they could have done to make this any better.

Happy Wife, Happy Nanny, Happy Life

The story of Living with Temptation: American Sunset is something that sounds pretty familiar, but it is still very well done. We play as a man who has a wife that he loves, but we have just had a kid and now we have a nanny coming to live with us…. A nanny who just so happens to be very hot. We can just play the role of a loving husband and try to concentrate on our wife, or we can get swept up in the beauty of the nanny and have an affair. These are the main two story routes, but there are several other characters that you can meet with and have relationships with as well.

Making The Most Of Your Day

If you played the original game, you will be blown away by how much better Living with Temptation: American Sunset is from a gameplay point of view. Each day gives you six actions that you can do and it is up to you to decide how you want to spend your day. I think that if you are playing the route of the wife or the nanny, it is pretty straight forward and the game will give you nudges in the right direction. However, for the other characters and extra stuff, you do have to think a little bit more and try to decide what situations could occur depending on the choices you make. To be honest with you, I tried to play it as more of a “loving husband” However, I do want to come back and try a few different options to see what else the game has to offer.

Moving With The Times

As well as playing better and having a better story, Living with Temptation: American Sunset also looks a lot better too. These character models are fantastic, all of the ladies and the guys have great and fit bodies. The chicks have big boobs and the guys are packing, but it is never to the point where it looks completely unrealistic if you get what I mean. There is a lot of animation in the game, and the sex scenes are very well done, but there are also bits of animation in the regular part of the game too which helps give it a bit more of a cinematic flair.

Pros:

• The wife and nanny are great, so hard to pick one!
• I was very impressed with the quality of the visuals
• There are many routes, but the game is streamlined and easy to play
• I found the writing to be great, with many characters I found interesting

Cons:

• It sounds greedy, but voice acting would have taken this to a whole new level
• Some of the “designer” pubic hair did look a bit funny
