If you enjoy third person action adventure games, then you might wish to keep an eye on upcoming Cubit Studios release Infinitesimals. This game is due for release in the near future, and poses a very interesting third person adventure for those who are looking for action.

The premise is relatively simple: you take on the role of some diminutive aliens who stand at a mere 1mm in size. This tiny spacefaring species have incredible technology, but they are not exactly seen as a fearsome foe to face off against. Set upon the wilderness of our own planet, though, your job is simple: survive, learn, and thrive.

A tiny story driven experience with a big heart

There is much to admire about the way that Infinitesimals comes across in its presentations. The game looks set to provide us with an entirely new experience, though some might immediately notice some similarities with other releases. The likes of Grounded immediately come to mind, with the whole size difference. Things that we normally see as tiny to a human, such as an ant, will appear massive to your tiny alien.

The premise seems built around exploring the world as a tiny alien and learning about Earth itself. Using the various different technologies that you are given, you will be able to discover more about Earth and make sure you understand just what you are dealing with on this planet. You will take on the role of Captain Orkney, who finds himself taking charge of a cross-faction battle within the species. So, it sounds like you will be dealing with both a lot of world learning and a huge conflict within your own species.

An exciting story-driven tale with a new idea

The main thing to note about the idea of Infinitesimals is that it gives us something new. Many games today build upon the same overly-tried themes, but Infinitesimals looks to be offering something a little bit different. There is a heart and an energy to this title that is easy to love, and there is also something about the overall look and presentation that looks very impressive.

Given this is not being developed by a major studio, both the idea and the visuals look very polished. The idea itself is the main driver here, though; it could provide a very different world-building experience to what we are used to. With the story having a bit of a double-edge to it, as well, this could have more to it than many new IPs who come out of the woodwork at the moment.
