Gods of Hentai

Gods of Hentai was an interesting experience for me. This is a game that I thought was ok, but man, it had the potential to be great! There are some things that I love about this game, mainly the art and the character designs! If you are into erotic fantasy, you are going to be blown away by the characters that are in this game. This is an MMORPG and one that I feel takes a great deal of power away from the player. It is a very simple game so it is easy to get into and figure out, but there is just something missing from making it an all time great.

Fantasy Factions At War

The overarching story that is in Gods of Hentai is a bit of a mixed bag. There are these warring fantasy factions that all want to be the top dogs and we play as the leader of one of them and we are tasked with putting together a team of warriors to fight off the other factions. The premise here is certainly fantastic, but I was a bit disappointed that the story never had any real legs and it was very, very basic stuff. This could have been this huge Game of Thrones style epic story about these warring factions, but we only really scratch the surface of how epic this conflict could be.

Adding A Sprinkle Of Personality

The best writing that Gods of Hentai has to offer comes from the dating sim style elements that the game has. These flesh out the characters and granted some have bigger and more interesting personalities than others. However, I found the writing in these sections to be much more interesting. So much so that I kind of wish they went deeper here as I would have loved to have learned more about some of these characters, especially the ones that I felt were very easy on the eyes as let's face it, who wouldn’t want to get a bit more up close and personal with these hotties?

One Click To Rule Them All

I have read a few other reviews where people did not like the gameplay of Gods of Hentai, but I can see the potential here and there are some good things. You need to build up your army of warriors to take into battle with you and you do this with a slot machine style mini-game where you win panties to give to potential warriors. There are some dating sim style elements too where you get to know the characters better and get them to fight for you. You also have to manage your warrior's abilities and items between battles and this was fun too. The battles though are all automatic and you just sit there and wait for them to play out. I found this kind of frustrating, to be honest with you. I would have much preferred a more in-depth turn based combat system.

Sweet Lewd Fantasy Baby

While the story may not be super deep and the combat system did not click with me, Gods of Hentai has some of the most awesome lewd fantasy character designs I have ever seen! This game has the wow factor for sure and these characters look fantastic. While playing the combat scenarios was not great, I loved the way that the character would flash up on the screen when doing an attack. The attack animations look amazing and there are always boobs jiggling or chicks being super naughty in this game. If it were not for the visuals, I perhaps would have lost interest in this game after just a few of the not very interactive battles!

Pros:

• There are some super hot characters in this game
• I loved the animations during the battle scenes
• The panty mini-game is pretty funny
• The dating stuff with the characters does flesh out the story a bit

Cons:

• The main story is very weak and you will struggle to care about it
• I wish that the combat was more interactive
