Goblin Dungeons

When it comes to XXX rogue-like games, Goblin Dungeons does more than enough things to make it stand out from the crowd. This is fun stuff, and it has some of the craziest art that I have seen in a while in a lewd game; it is so over the top; it popped me big time when I saw it. The dungeon crawling and the rogue-like mechanics that the game offers are pretty solid, and if you are into this kind of thing, you will get pretty into what this is offering. Hey, It Works!

One thing that I will say about Goblin Dungeons is that it is not exactly the most story-driven game that I have had the pleasure to play. The game takes place in the fantasy land of Erotis, and we play the role of an adventurer who is setting out on a quest to try and take down the Goblin King! That right there is what I told you is pretty much the extent of the story. The characters are quite shallow, and your typical fantasy archetypes, and the story never gets any deeper than what I just said. However, as a rogue-like game, I do feel that they at the very least give you a reason to be heading out on run after run.

Taking It Straight To Them

When it comes to the core gameplay of Goblin Dungeons, what we have here is a first person rogue-like action game. You set out with pretty low stats and fairly average equipment, and you just try and kill anything that comes in your way, usually some kind of goblin or orc with a huge penis! You kill them, you get your rewards, and you move on. You basically keep on going until you hit something that you are not strong enough to defeat. You then use your gains to either upgrade the equipment you have or get something new. Of course, in typical rogue-like fashion, you are also rewarded as you go by getting to choose what rewards you get after a successful ass kicking!

Running It Through

There is a bit of RNG going on here in Goblin Dungeons, and it did raise its head a few times as I played the game. In my first run, I came across enemies that just decimated me with just a couple of attacks! However, I was encouraged to keep on going, and I was having a fun time. The thing is, I found myself having a fun time, but after an hour or so, I was just doing the same thing over and over again, for what felt like minimal gains. Hey, to be fair, you could make the argument that this is the case for most rogue-like games. However, there was just something here that made me, after that hour or so, say to myself, I think I am done here and that was it for me. Hey, it was fun while it lasted, and I certainly went on quite a few runs, but I did end up having my fill with it quicker than I was expecting.

Bigger, Better, Bader

A little reference to WrestleMania III and, of course, WWF WrestleMania on the NES for you there. However, it is quite fitting with Goblin Dungeons as this game does use some AI art, but it is pretty awesome. The size of the balls and penises on some of these goblins is just insane! They were huge, and then after a little while, I came across a massive goblin who had a much smaller penis, and that just made me crack up. The art in the game is pretty fun to look at, and there is always some kind of XXX component to a fight or even just the map screen!

Pros:

• The huge penises and balls were hilarious
• The combat could be pretty exciting
• There is a bit of an addictive thing going on here
• I would love to play through this again at some point

Cons:

• I did find that I lost interest after a while
• Some of the RNG stuff felt a little on the unfair side
