Five Nights in Anime: Rebooted

I thought the original was a ton of fun, but Five Nights in Anime: Rebooted offers us much better visuals and a few new tweaks and improvements, too.

A Great Job….. Maybe?

The story being told here is pretty much the same as before. The game is set during an anime convention, and we are working as security. However, the animatronics at this place come alive at night, and they are horny, and they will pretty much bang us to death if they manage to get their hands on us! While the story for the most part is the same, it is a bit more streamlined and quicker-paced in this remake than it was in the original.

Stay And Survive The Night

I will say that if you played the original, Five Nights in Anime: Rebooted is going to feel very familiar. It is basically the same idea, survive the night, work in the security office, and of course, try and resist the temptations of the horny animatronics. To be honest, I think the game being so similar to the original Five Nights at Freddy’s is probably going to be what makes or breaks this game for you. For me I like it, and I would play this over the original version as it is a more streamlined and easier-to-play game.

A Generational Leap

Hey, I am a fan of what the original Five Nights in Anime and Five Nights In Anime 3D did, but the visual style of this clicks with me much more. This has a more cartoon, dare I say, anime look than the other games, which I feel went for a more traditional video game kind of style to the visuals. Whether the characters are hot or not…. That is all down to personal preference. However, I can say that, for my personal taste, I prefer the look of this newer version of the game.

Pros:

• I loved the new visual style
• This is more streamlined than the original
• There were some fun jump scares

Cons:

• If you did not like the original, this is probably not for you
• It does play it safe with the FNAF formula
