Dungeon Slime: Puzzle’s Adventure

Dungeon Slime: Puzzle’s Adventure is one of the most addictive puzzle games that I have played in a while, plus playing as a slime is always cool!

Billy Bookcase

Hey, if you are a video game collector, you get that reference! Anyway, our hero in this game is Billy the Slime! He is trapped in a dungeon, and we need to help him get out of it. This is pretty much the only story that is in the game, but the twist to things is that Billy changes shape, and this is not just part of who Billy is as a character, but it also plays into the core of the puzzle gameplay that is on offer here.

Slamming Slimes

Gameplay-wise, Dungeon Slime: Puzzle’s Adventure is super addictive. You have to get Billy out of a bunch of dungeons by guiding him to the exit. The gimmick of this puzzle game is that when you move Billy, he slides along and will hit the wall, object, or whatever, and when this happens, it will change his shape. You need to be strategic about this so that you can make sure Billy can fit through the obstacles as well as avoid the dangers of each dungeon. Oh, to make it extra tricky, you have a set number of times you can move Billy, too. This is very challenging, but it is an absolute ton of fun.

A Slimy Good Time

I really like the overall style of Dungeon Slime: Puzzle’s Adventure. Billy is a fun and quirky-looking slime, and I like how he is bright green, as it makes him stand out really well from the dark and drab dungeons. The game is probably not going to win any awards for the way that it looks, but I still like what they have done here. For a game that, on the surface, looks very simple as far as the presentation goes, they have made sure that the whole thing has a ton of personality.

Pros:

• I loved how challenging the puzzles were
• The changing of Billy is a fun gimmick
• The game gets progressively harder, which I liked

Cons:

• A little more story would have been nice
• This is a game that demands you think before you act!
