Delivery INC

Delivery INC is a really cool management style game where we are in charge of making sure that stuff gets to where it needs to go on time! It is kind of funny that back in the day (not giving away my age here) if you ordered something via mail order it was deemed acceptable for it to take 4 to 6 weeks! These days, if something is not here with “next day delivery” we are ready to kill someone! Well, in this game you are the one that people will be mad at if their breakfast burrito or their Blu-Ray is late!

The Customer Is Always…An Impatient Jerk!

The whole premise of Delivery INC is really neat. We have basically what is kind of Uber business that we are running. We will take people where they need to go, we will deliver people's food and we will deliver packages, whatever they may be to people as well. We are an all in one delivery service and we pride ourselves on our reputation which is what we want to keep as well as make a ton of cash in the process of course.

Big City Big Deliveries

One of the cool things about Delivery INC is that we can pick pretty much any city in the world to start our delivery business in. The game uses real world maps so you are getting a very authentic “world” to play in here. We are tasked with taking on a job and then picking the best way for one of our drivers to complete the job. It is the kind of thing that sounds very easy on paper, but when you have multiple deliveries to keep track of it is a very delicate balancing act that you have to keep on top of as one unhappy customer with a bad review can cause you some major problems.

The Right Driver & The Right Vehicle

One of the most surprising aspects of Delivery INC was the driver and vehicle stuff. You have to hire your staff that will be making these deliveries for you, but they all have their own personality traits that can make them good or not so good at their jobs. They may call you while they are doing a job and need help and guidance as well! You also need decide what kind of vehicles you want. When you are starting out with a modest budget, you have to take what you can get, but some old unreliable banger can cost you money in the long run!

King Of The Screen

The overall presentation of Delivery INC is not going to win any awards if I am being honest with you. We have our map screen which is where we can view and plan our jobs. We also have a few different menus like where we can select and mess with our vehicles as well as check our staff. For me, this is the kind of game that has a rather relaxing vibe about the way it looks, I think that it is the kind of game where you fire up your favorite playlist and just get lost in it all.

Pros:

• I love the idea of running this delivery company
• I liked how the drivers and customers had so much personality
• The game is very addictive
• It is challenging, but in a fun way

Cons:

• The presentation is not exactly like candy to your eye
• You do need to have a love of management sims to appreciate this game
