While we do not have a ton of information about Death in the Water 2, I still wanted to share my thoughts on this cool looking survival game. There is always something a bit more unsettling about a survival game that takes place underwater and that is a huge part of the reason I am finding myself drawn to this game. The mixture of reality with fantasy is something that I feel the game is doing really well and if you are looking for a survival game that is sure to send chills down your spine, this could be the game for you.

You’ll Be Deader Down Where It's Wetter

Hmm, I guess that could be seen as me being dirty, but I am just having some fun so get your mind out of the gutter! Death in the Water 2 as you have probably figured out takes place underwater. I am not 100 percent sure what the story in the game is to be honest with you so I can only share with you what I know. The entire game takes place underwater and you are just trying to survive, sure you have your typical dangerous sea creatures down there. However, the real threat is an evil Kraken that is ruling the seas and wants you dead! The ocean is usually a dangerous place, but this game is taking it to the next level!

Everything Wants You Dead!

The gameplay of Death in the Water 2 takes place in the first person and from what I can tell you are in a randomly generated ocean with all kinds of sea creatures. The main weapon that you have at your disposal in the game is a spear, but as you explore and progress further in your underwater nightmare you can get more powerful upgrades which you are certainly going to need as you never know what the ocean and its evil powerful Kraken master!

Fish Are Not Friends

Two Disney references in one horror themed game review? That has to be some kind of record! Anyway, visually, Death in the Water 2 looks great. The creatures that we have seen are all very well detailed and there is a great selection of them. There are many realistic looking creatures such as many different sharks like a great white, tiger, and bull shark. There are other dangerous fish in the sea as well, but what I am most excited about are the more horror/fantasy elements that include evil sirens that will try and lure you to your death. I think the underwater setting in the game is going to make things that extra bit scary.

Even though they are keeping some of the major details of the game close to their chest right now. I do feel that Death in the Water 2 is shaping up to be something really awesome. I love horror survival games and I am sure that this is one that is going to make you feel uneasy the whole time you are playing the game. If you are someone that gets a kick out of survival games, this is one that you need to keep a close eye on.
