Cryptid Park

As I write this, Cryptid Park is still being worked on, and there are only two parts to this lewd puzzler, but what is here is a lot of fun, and I am very excited to see how this progresses.

A Mimic Walks Into A Park

The idea of the story is that we play the role of this mimic creature who wanders into this fun theme park. Being lonely, we use our mimic skills to take the form of many different things that we find in the park, and we come across a cute bunny girl that we take a liking to. Right now, the story I experienced never really went beyond this, but as a premise, I am very interested to see how this story is going to unfold.

Mimic Me Some Brains

Cryptid Park is a 2D puzzle game, and boy, is this tough. It throws you in with no information at all, not even the controls; you have to figure it all out. The first stage is pretty easy, to be honest. You need to figure out what you need to change into and then what you need to do with it. The second stage, though, has timing that is really tight, and you have to do things in a very specific order. Sure, you can figure it out, but it is one heck of a difficulty spike so early in the game. Hey, I am not hating on this at all. I get it, and it is designed to be tricky. Hopefully, they will offer a little bit more of a nod in the right direction if you get stuck, or at least at the start of the puzzle.

Mimicking The Classics

This is a fantastic-looking game; it has a very stylish and high end cartoon look about it. That alone is great, but it is the smooth animation that really sets this apart from the rest. In many ways, it kind of reminds me of something like Cuphead. The XXX content here is very well done, and the red bunny chick that we get to play with is gorgeous. I also liked the theme park setting, and I think that it is going to be a great deal of fun to see what other locations they have in store for us with this theme park setting.

Pros:

• I was blown away by the visuals and animation
• The puzzles are clever, but tough

• This game is brutally tough at the start
• No timeframe for the third chapter has been given
