Brainwashing Academy ~Cursed Vessel of the Enchanter~

Let me start by saying that I understand Brainwashing Academy ~Cursed Vessel of the Enchanter~ is the kind of game that is not going to be for everyone. However, I freaking loved this game, loved it so much that I played through all three routes, and it had me hooked right from the start. This is an awesome lewd RPG that pretty much does everything that it does right. Just be warned, this is the kind of game that demands your full attention in order to get the best out of it.

School Is For Fools!

I loved the story that Brainwashing Academy ~Cursed Vessel of the Enchanter~ told! In many ways, it is like a story from one of the Persona games, like Persona 5 Royal, as it has a high school type setting. We play the role of a young man who gets these new brainwashing abilities from a man who has a few secrets of his own. This man gets our protagonist, along with his cute niece, Kanou, to infiltrate this strange academy. Once inside, you can decide how you will use these newly gotten powers and if you will use them to solve the mystery of this place to uncover the truth, or if you will just use them for your own selfish needs!

Third Time Is The Charm

Now, I may lose some of you here when I tell you that in order to fully experience the epic story that Brainwashing Academy ~Cursed Vessel of the Enchanter~ is telling, you need to play through the game multiple times! You need to complete the lust and the wrath paths and then tackle the true ending. If you just do one of these and call it a day, honestly, the story is probably not going to be all that epic or even make a ton of sense by the time it comes to an end. It is when you complete all three paths that it all comes together, and it is really cool stuff. Granted, this is asking a great deal from the player, but for me, it was more than worth it.

Getting Around Town!

If you have played any kind of town down lewd RPG before, Brainwashing Academy ~Cursed Vessel of the Enchanter~ is not going to cause you too many problems. While I cannot really think of anything that this game does that is radically unique. It does do what it does very well. You need to explore the academy, chat with other characters, make tricky decisions, and best of all, engage in awesome turn based combat. There is just something very satisfying about the combat in this game. It is the perfect blend of being challenging, but not frustrating, and I liked the pace at which I was leveling up as I progressed through the game. As I said when talking about the story, there are multiple paths that you need to go on, and I felt that they each offered enough differences to make it not get old.

Getting The Three Peat!

Nope, we are not talking about the 90s Chicago Bulls here, but as I said, Brainwashing Academy ~Cursed Vessel of the Enchanter~ requires you to beat the game three times, but thankfully, the visuals more than keep you interested. The game has your top-down perspective for the gameplay, but the combat is done in a very cool way that shows off the enemies. You also have these gorgeous-looking CGs that move the story along and, of course, serve as the XXX content as well. The characters look great, but the lack of facial features on the males is a little odd; however, it is something that I have seen in other lewd games, too.

• Combat is challenging, but a lot of fun
• The visuals are epic, even the XXX content
• I liked how the story all wrapped up

Cons:

• The game does demand a great deal of time and effort
• If lewd RPGs are not your thing, this will not win you over
