Bitch Life

Like most people, I was drawn to Bitch Life because of the very in your face title that the game has. The thing is, I am not sure why the game is called this as it doesn’t really have anything to do with the game, I guess it is just there to catch people's attention. Which I have to give the developer a lot of credit for as it sure as hell worked on me. This is a lewd I want to say visual novel game, but you do actually control the character so I guess it is more interactive than what you usually get with a lewd visual novel.

She Always Gets What She Wants

The premise of Bitch Life is something that I thought was really neat and granted, this is a lewd game, but it is also a kind of sex positive game. The story is about a girl who transfers to a new college and there are pretty much three things that she loves, money, clothes, and sex and she is going to do whatever it takes to get all three of these things. She is not scared to use sex to get what she wants, she is a slut and she is proud of this and it is one of her main (if not her only) personality traits! I got a kick out of this and thought that it made for a fun premise for a story.

High School Never Ends

A little nod to pop rockers, Bowling for Soup there. Anyway, Bitch Life tells a pretty standard high school/college kind of story at first and then it opens up and lets the player make choices. As strange as this may sound, I actually think that the story worked best when it was more linear and focused. Perhaps the rather strange translation is the reason for this as I did come across a few scenes where the text I got was not translated at all and there were some other scenes that had some rather strange stuff going on with the translation, making it kind of hard for me to know what exactly is going on.

Showing Some Persona”lity”

The school/college setting is very cool, but as soon as I started playing Bitch Life, I got some major Persona vibes, most notably Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal. The way the college, school, academy, or whatever the heck it is looks, has a very Persona vibe about it. The main character is gorgeous, I love her nice green eyes and the little bit of color that she has running through her hair. They have managed to make her look cute, but also sexy at the same time. I also got a massive kick out of the cute way that she would walk, as if she was all innocent, well that is until it was time for her to turn it on and get very lewd. The sex scenes in the game are a lot of fun and while at first, I wondered if I was ever going to get any. Once they start, they do then come at you at a pretty quick rate.

Just Doing What She Does

One thing for sure I can tell you about Bitch Life is that this is a game that is not asking for much of your time at all. You just wander around the different areas, chatting to guys to either get money or use your body for sex. You do this and then you can buy new clothes, and you eventually get a sex scene, rinse, and repeat. There is not exactly a ton of substance here, but at the same time, I liked how it was a really chill experience, and even when I could not understand the translation, I was able to fumble my way through and make it to the next choice that the game gave me to make.

Pros:

• I thought that the main character was super cute
• This game is very easy to play through
• I liked the Persona style vibes the school/college setting gave
• You can beat this in one sitting

Cons:

• The translation was rough in some places and not even done in others
• The game is very basic and I do not see many people replaying it
