Babysitter

I have to start by saying that I feel Babysitter is trying really hard to offer a long and engaging narrative and I think that it so nearly succeeds in this. I have played a ton of lewd adventure/visual novel style games in my time and I think this is one of the more ambitious ones in terms of the scale and size of the story. It is a bit of a slow burn so if you are on the hunt for something that is straight to the action then this may not be the game for you.

Two Or Three Become One

The plot of Babysitter is very hard to talk about. Not because the story in Babysitter is bad, but because there is so much going on! There are many twists, turns, and scenarios and I have heard that some people have played through the game three or more times and had a different experience each time! The basics of the story are that you are in a love triangle with two girls Jessica and Christine and one of them is your niece! Add into this blackmail, infidelity, and a whole lot of weirdness and you have a lot to focus on.

Move Damnit!

I found it kind of amusing how Babysitter started with a kind of Star Wars like story crawl to set the tone for the story. As a whole, the presentation of the game is very well done. The character models look fantastic and everything in the game has a very realistic look to it. It is very impressive what they were able to do here and while it does have a very similar look to about a million other adult games, I still like the presentation. The thing is, this is a game that really makes you work for the good stuff! If you want to see the hot chicks banging right away, you may be disappointed.

Actions That Have Consequences!

This is your typical lewd adventure game, but I would also say that Babysitter verges on being more of a visual novel. You will have to click around each area and do various things as you would expect, but there is a massive amount of text in this game that you have to read. You get to make choices along the way and there is so much variety here and so many paths that you do feel like your decisions have a fair bit of weight about them.

Pros:

• I liked both of the main girls in the game
• It has some great looking character models
• Your choices more often than not feel like they matter
• There is a lot of replay value here

Cons:

• The game is a little bit on the slow side
• Some of the bad guys are a bit cartoonish
