Apocalypse XL

It was a buddy who suggested I check out Apocalypse XL, as he, like I, has been on a bit of a vore kick recently, and this is one of the most interesting games based on that fetish!

The World Has Gone Nuts!

The setting of the game is a post-apocalyptic world, a world that has seen those who survived the chaos develop superpowers! Our main character is a hot babe who just so happens to be able to eat anything! Yeah, the vore stuff here, along with the insane weight gain, is pretty on the nose. However, I think that it is kind of fun and has a bit of silliness and charm about it.

Eating Just….. Right!

With Apocalypse XL being a lewd RPG, the game sees you walking around the different areas, talking to characters, taking on quests, and best of all, getting into battles. The turn based combat system here is fun; you only have a few attacks, but I liked how there was basically a paper, scissors, rock kind of thing going on with what attacks trump others. The game is not complete as I write this, but I was having a blast exploring and making our heroine grow as much as I could.

Quite The Belly Bulge She Has There

I love the quirky characters and their designs in the game! The top down gameplay is very charming with its funky pixel art and varied locations. However, when you get into battles or when there is a cut scene, you get to see these characters in a much more detailed way. Look, I get the vore thing, and the weight gain stuff is not for everyone. However, if that is something you get a kick out of, you will be very impressed by how it is done here.

Pros:

• I loved the quirky characters
• The setting was cool, as was the reasoning for the powers
• The combat system was a lot of fun

Cons:

• As of writing, the game is lacking in content
• The fetishes here are not going to be everyone's cup of tea
